||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed to set up a wireless office for my wife at home that would include connecting a VOIP phone, for all kinds of reasons I could not connect it directly to the Xfinity modem or ASUS wi-fi unit. This unit did the trick. I can now move my wife's home office set-up anywhere in the house and not have to worry about connecting to any cable or phone port. Her connection through Netgear is perfect.

Buy with caution

ok but nothing to brag about.

I haven't tested the extent to which I has boosted my signal but it doesn't seem to have an effect on speed. I am using it in conjunction with the mid level Comcast service with wireless modem.
