Bought this extender to improve our network speed. So far, it isn't living up to expectations. Plan is to review set up again and determine if another location should would help it out.

I was having issues getting a solid wifi signal... no more with the nighthawk dual band extender. 5 bars solid through the whole house out into the street! All my devices work flawlessly now. I am totally satisfied with this product.

Setup instructions included with device were NOT accurate. However, the entire process worked seemlessly once I contacted Netgear support and got the correct instructions.

The product was a little confusing to setup because the site given wasn't correct. After setup was complete it has been working pretty good.

It helped extend the range of the wifi so I could see it on my phone but the signal was extremely poor. Ended up going with a Wireless Access Point instead. I will say, the set up for this range extender was SO easy. For reference, I had our Modem on the 1st floor, this extender on our 3rd floor, and the strength on the 4th floor was very poor.

Works very well when you hook a wired connection via the 5 ethernet ports on the back of device. Wont hold a steady wifi signal when using a wireless device.

I am not sure why this wifi extender has such a good review, I have had this product for about a year and it was okay for a while, but now I can tell that the signal has gotten weaker, the product fails with the ethernet cord, and it cannot withstand more than 6 devices or else it has trouble. This is a good product to have if you are in an apartment with not many devices otherwise I wouldn't recommend it.

I was having trouble getting my new Firestick to run with my old range extender. This product seemed to be reasonably priced and had decent reviews. Once it was I had it set up, all of my woes were solved. Great product.

The Nighthawk AC1900 Dual-Band Gigabit Wi-Fi Range Extender works exactly as the sales person mentioned. I am able to connect to our guest house 150 feet away without having connection issues or being dropped off.

My wifi router is in the back of my house, in an office. The wifi signal wouldn't reach the bedrooms on the other side. I placed this extender directly in the middle of my house, and I now have strong, fast wifi anywhere I go.

We are very happy with this extender, we need it to extend the wifi signal outside the house and it works great. Initially we got an AC1200 but it was not performing as expected, so we upgrade to this AC1900 and it works fine !!!!!

I needed a better way to get my Wi-Fi throughout the house and this has exceeded my expectations!! I now have a computer, 2 4K tvs and multiple blu rays and small devices running wi-fi through this and no problems!!

It took a couple of days for me to figure out the setup and I still had to call the support desk for assistance. The system is running great now that it has been properly setup.

I thought this product would speed-up my WiFi connections. My house has some rooms that have dead spots and I think I will need an additional range-extender to meet my needs.

Routers are basic but can be finicky. I find that the technology is progressing in leaps and bounds expanding penetration of signals through walls once before considered impenetrable. This is a great product.

Wanted to extend my Nighthawk X8 range. The X8 range was greater than the extender.

I actually returned this item and opted for the google mesh WiFi system..which I love. I say spend the extra money and go for a multi point mesh system.

It is a good product if you have to extend WiFi over a House only. But, if you need full WiFi over all the places like house, basement, shop etc then try the mesh network solutions like google or netgear etc.

If you read the hype on the outside of the box, this thing will blast your "up to 10,000 square foot home" with a powerful wifi signal. That covers about every home in the country right? Well my house is 2900 squares and I get about half my house covered with an acceptable signal. The main router covers the other half so overall, I'm satisfied with what it does. I'm considering adding a power line repeater to supplement this repeater.

At first when i hooked it up i thought it crap but when i reread the instructions and set up in another room i realize i didnt need it to be next to the cable modem! It work great i get fast internet response
