Difficult to set up but works well once installed. Does not strengtjen sognal but makes reacj of signal greater

This extender goes hard. Have a smart tv in detached garage that would struggle to stream netflix, youtube, etc. Now it streams like a boss!

This product enables me to get wifi on the far end of the house and into the garage on the opposite side.

Needed to expand my dual band wireless range and this did the trick. I set this up as an access point rather than an extender. No problems.

If I can hook it to the TV then it would be a 5. Other than than that it was easy to install and works great

We couldn't keep a connection with our TV's internet for more than an hour. We have now been connected for two weeks!! I am very happy.

Netgear Nighthawk is easy to install, setup and sync to server! Resets itself well with power outages. Has a small form factor.

Purchased for my grandson and it worked perfectly to solve his connection issues.

What a piece of garbage. Nothing about what the box states is even close to being accurate. Let me point them out. First of all I am a AT&T U-verse subscriber. My service overall was fine but there are a couple of dead spots and so I did my research and picked this WiFi extender for Black Friday since it was on sale. I get home, and I am pretty tech savvy, and followed the directions out of the box. I used the easy set up at first (of course) by pressing the WPS button on my extender and then my router per the instructions. Seemed to hook up per the light up on both boxes. But then I could not connect to the internet at all. So I then follow the manual setup and go through all the steps and when it looks like it is connected at the very end until I try to update the firmware and then it says I have no internet connection!! Ridiculous!! I call NETGEAR tech support and they have me manually change all the settings on my devices not addressing the extender at all. But it seems like everything is fine. I used the extender to hook a smart TV in a back room and my iPad and iPhone. It helped speed things up nicely. That is till the next morning. Then both of my mobile devices would not correct, just going to a dummy IP address. So I called support again and the tech could not even manage to get my iPad or iPhone connected again and then the worthless tech told me to update my firmware!! HOW CAN I DO THIS IF THE THING WON'T CONNECT TO THE FREAKING INTERNET!! After going round and round he said I should just return it!! I mean seriously? What company tells you to return THEIR product?! I was not going to go down that easy. I took it back to BB and just exchanged hoping it was just a hardware issue. I get home and do the dance all over again with the same result. WHAT GARBAGE!! Getting this to work should not have been rocket science. Needless to say I will never get another NETGEAR product and I will suggest to all to avoid for the shoddy product and even worse support.
