    Router works just fine. We have a challenging house so it has been difficult to find a router with enough power to do the job. This one does not cover the entire first floor but the signal is strong enough for us to add two wireless access points that can cover the entire 3,500 sq ft (not that large of a house.).

    Didn't work. There was no increase in signal strength or distance. Still had the same dead spots, signal strength drop-offs, disconnections, lost signals, etc. There was no change to my internet connection, and/or signal strength/consistency. It might as well have been a paperweight. When I had a pro out he stated a mesh system would be far superior to an extender and recommended purchasing a 3 pack mesh system instead. The router was in perfect working order at this time as well so the extender just was ineffective.

    Good range extender when it works. The range extender paired to a netgear night hawk router would drop the 2.4 network about every two days and had to reset it. Tried two units and had the same issues.
