Not a bad range extender. You may lose connectivity (three or four Times a year) A simple reboot of the power supply corrects the issue. Excellent range. It can be used vertically or horizontally.

While this extender does do a good job of extending your network and appears to be fast, setting it up is a real pain. Even now I want to change the password of one of the channels but the only way to do that is to reset the entire thing and start over (as far as I can tell). They tell you to use a network manager and give you a link to manage it but the link doesn't go anywhere unless you are setting it up from scratch.

Before i purchase this my Wifi range was horrible in the front part of my home. Now with this purchase my range is Awesome Fast speeds..love it

Perfect extender to cover well over 2000 square feet of a one floor house when the router provided by the cable company barely covered one room.

The Nighthawk repeater is easy to install (if I can do it, anyone can) and to move around to locate the best location for the strongest signal.

Extender worked great to corners of my 2nd floor house where there is always a dead zone and get no signal (not even one bar). I've used other extenders which might get one bar to those areas. Decided to switch to the Netgear extender and now I'm getting at least 3 bars to those dead zones. Very easy setup for nontech person. Definitely pleased with purchase.

Simple installation and fantastic performance. I have an existing Netgear router and this mated up well with it. A great extender at a great price. Don’t be intimated as the installation instructions are clear and concise, and I had mine up and running in less then ten minutes.

great for extending the range of your wifi network. gives you two more option so you can split your network and not have everything pulling on the one channel.

Very easy to activate. I get internet in all my rooms. Sometimes it drops internet and you have to reconnect.

I used this device in an unusual approach. Home to Shed (about 120') using a directional, wired antenna mounted on the side of the shed. The NETGEAR AC1900 device is inside the shed. From the shed to the out building is Cat-5 wired. Inside the outbuilding is a Linksys WiFi access point. Having an antenna that could be removed was a must. I almost used the mesh feature, but due to my situation decided against it. Nice part is the base station wasn't required to be mesh. I like that too. So what about performance. At the far end using a laptop over the WiFi I record 85Mb/s down and 18Mb/s up. This is about 35% the performance of measured at the base station. The NETGEAR AC1900 replaces a failed range extender and improved on that performance by about 30% as best I recall. As with all of these devices, understanding how to set them up is very helpful. I was glad to find all of the expected options to fully configure the device along with a few surprises like the mesh capability.

Works well I use it for a ring cam installed about 150 feet away from the house I get a good signal

We have two online (PS4) gamers in the house who were frequently losing connection. We bought this extender to improve the strength of the wireless connectivity between the router, which is in the basement, and the upstairs PS4. Although we still experience disconnections, the frequency has been significantly reduced.
