Just get a better router

The I also have a Netgear Nighthawk modem/router. The router does a great job, however the range limit causes speeds to be slow on one side of my house. I got this after doing my homework and hearing recommendations. This just worsened the issue. It cut my entire bandwidth in half and had no affect on the slow speeds on the far side of my house.

not so long range

It is set up in an optimum spot yet loses signal once or twice a week. New Samsung tablet will only find one band unless we reboot the extender each time.

Junk

Setup was relatively easy, however, url given for setup did not work on MAC, had to search for correct url. Worked for less than two months. Tried factory reset. Nothing. No signal. Exchanged for another model (mesh). Very disappointed given the price.

Easy to set up but wasn’t powerful enough.

Poor performance

Inconsistent, but good when it is good

Not Easy to Install
