Works well when it's not randomly disconnecting from the router

This makes a great WiFi bridge. However, when using it as an Extender I ran into stability issues. It didn't play nice with the main router it was connected to and was repeating. I think the main issue is that you can't change the channel it repeats on, so there is interference or confusion from my main router (R9000). Once I took the extended function off, it works great as an extender.

I am not seeing any improvement on the signal strength throughout my house.

This extended router is OK for it’s purpose but I was expecting a little bit more coverage in my backyard.

I tried this but instructions were not useful and it locked me out of my wifi.

It’s ok for small house. If u got big house, don’t get this. Weak on signal

Issues: Not well supported with app Internet signal strength is off shown to be strong, but there no internet access. If I immediately check (via connecting into the router from the laptop because the app doesn’t support the equipment very well, if at all, I’m not sure) it shows that there’s no problems. USB connection never illuminates.

I purchased this to extend my wifi range. When it works, my wifi signal was great, however, I don't know why but it kept resetting on me. I even did a hard reset myself and it still reset itself. Also I could not get it to connect to any of the Netgear App. The app said unable to find the router. I had the router returned for something else.

The extender disconnects at the exact same time every night for no reason. All connection lights are green and steady yet no internet signal. Its absolutely aggravating, waste of money.

I put this in my garage so I could extend the range of my wifi. It works but doesn't project as far as I had hoped.

I have gone through 3 of these routers, some even being replaced by NETGEAR (after a charge, of course), I am a technically literate person, and spend a lot of my time working with networking products and hardware to begin with. I thought I was going to be able to use these to connect just under 100 devices and have them work on a split between 2.4/5ghz and a hardwired cat5e connection, but literally every configuration I've had dies after a few months, and starts dropping whole clients randomly, restarting, and locking up for no reason. Have since switched to Nest Wifi, and while I would recommend it to somebody who NEEDS advanced features, it has more than enough basic and advanced-lite features to keep a stable network going, unlike my Nighthawks.

It extended the range of my wifi but it weakened the signal to all the electronics near my normal router.

This wi fi extender was some what difficult to set up. It seems to work fairly well, but it is hard to tell.

Added a small amount of boost but not as much as we expected or needed.

Bought to connect TV with wired connection. Slow speed wired does goood job wireless just to much money

Service was good, needed a better and stronger product. Associate was cool about explaining products

I returned it. Was a pain to set-up. Was not able to so back to store.

Set up was frustrating. Took too long! The directions were not clear.

Nighthawk range was fair, but not enough for where I needed it.
