I returned this for another extender from Netgear Which worked very well

It might have been me, but I could not get this thing to work. I wanted to extend our Wi-Fi in the house since stupid Verizon put our router in the farthest corner of the house from everything else. This thing seemed to make things worse and confuse our devices. Again, it might have been me, but I ended up returning it.

My wife's MAC equipment will not work with the extender installed in our wifi system, We have a Netgear night hawk router. We got the extender to booster the router strenght. When the extender is attached the MAC equipment wifi no longer function. It works once I unplug the extender/

I ended up returning this product as it is not compatible with Spectrum Internet Services. I definitely would not recommend this product if you have Spectrum Internet. Per Spectrum, this product will not work because you need a WPS and they no longer provide modems with this option in order to connect.

I will be returning this item. I have purchased 2 in two different households and both have shut down WiFi use. As soon as I unplugged the mesh routers the WiFi began working flawlessly. Unfortunately the first one purchased is 28 months old and cannot be returned. Very disappointed.

It doesn't extend the range that well and it does create another network name which isn't great. Using ethernet so its ok.

I went through 2 of these before getting a single router/modem combo unit wit more range. Each worked great for awhile, but both times the range extender eventually was not recognized by the router/modem unit. This was a big issue for me, and really cost me some time before I decided to cut bait and get something else.

Spotty works every now and then, chronically unable to perform wifi capability but works with Ethernet cord connected to Xbox and tv.

Doesn’t hold the signal. I reinstalled several times and install was successful every time. Then looses the signal and devices logged in don’t default back to modem. Simply awful and too late to return. Please refund anyway, this is worthless.

Difficulty maintaining connection poor tech support but it does have a strong signal would not recommend

Have traditionally had good experiences with netgear products but this one was not worth it. Very easy to install but once installed half of the devices in my home stopped working because they LOST connection. Once I disconnected the extender everything went back to working normal.

My house is almost 4500 square feet. I tried this extender because I genuinely like netgear and it has the best rating. I was annoyed it stop working after 2/4 hours the first day. After that I noticed I have to restart it 2-3 times days. I bought these over the pods because it’s supposedly better for streaming. Don’t waste your, JUST GET THE PODS!

My router/modem is in my living room and needed an extender to obtain better connection into my home office. Tried this and it was terrible, didn't move the needle much if anything. Traded it in for a Google Nest Mesh Extender and the Google product does what I was hoping for. Would not recommend the Nighthawk if your problem is same as mine to solve.

It was working okay but died in March 2018 less than 2 years since I bought it. Geek Squad said they don't repair these.

I was not a fan of this product, only because they do not clearly define what products this will work with.

worked good one day. then nasty people block my wifi blocked it. was surprised Netgear usually good.

It has a difficult time to locate my wifi network, it shows it is connected but when I try to access internet it rarely works.

This wifi extender was good at first but I'm now noticing that it knocks out my original wifi which causes neither of them to work.

The Netgear Nighthawk extender did not help with my wifi problem. I returned it.

Works great after you reboot it. Started out rebooting once a week and now it is once a day.
