We recently moved into a three story townhouse. For some reason, the smart home panel with the wifi router was located on the top floor in the master bedroom. Each room has one cable drop to be used for either internet or television. Needless to say, the signal in the basement was almost non-existent. When we got the range extender, it took a bit of experimentation to find the optimal place for it. The signal in the basement was too weak for it to give us much improvement. Fortunately, there is a ledge in the stairwell with an electrical outlet nearby. When we placed the extender there, the signal in the basement improved to be a similar level as the rest of the house. I highly recommend this range extender.

Nighthawk wifi located in front of house and weak on back deck. Took time to find best location, but now strong wifi signal everywhere. Connection easy, good instructions.

Have wireless internet but connectivity keeps dropping mainly due to where my router is located. I have a 100mbps internet and decided to get this just so the range can extend and this extended is very easy to setup and my internet still nice has not dropped. Love it!

I bought this wifi extender to get a better signal to my office which is in a building about 120 feet from our router. It was fairly easy to set up and I get a good signal in my office. Very pleased with the results. I would recommend this item.

Easy, straight forward installation. I am using to catch WiFi signal sent out by RV park. Both 2.4 and 5G signals which previously were weak and dropping out come in strong and hang in there. Speed improvement is significant.

Needed to extend our Wi-Fi vertically and around the perimeter. Works great!

Upgraded from another netgear router to the Nighthawk AC5300 to increase coverage and speeds. i have connected it to Comcast cable and now to ATT fiber. Just disable the WiFi on the other companies modem and plug it in. Currently I am running internet at 867mbps.

I bought this to replace a wall outlet range extender that just wasn't doing the job in a bigger house. With this one, the signal is strong upstairs, in our backyard, and reaches across the street. Our property is just under an acre, and this covers all of it.

This extender greatly improved our current wifi range in the upper floor of our house.

Setup was simple. Provides the extra coverage I needed. You can get more bandwidth of your choose to stay with a single frequency. As with all netgear product, they are available for one support if needed.

I bought this to cover our rental next door and the area of my garden where my wife works quite often. That area she always said she coudn't get a signal. The extender works like it was advertised but I was maybe expecting too much. It did extend the signal, and was pretty easy to install, but it still is spotty, The rental next door is fine but the garden coverage within the area I was trying to reach is better but still weak about 2 bars.

It works really good in my house which has 3 floors
