This thing is a beast. The only down side is the setup. I have this running behind my main router and when setting it up or changing settings you either go to the website or unplug everything from it due to it basically being a switch you would just connect to the router behind it. Performance is good though once setup.

it has dual mode reception, as well as special modes for streaming, setting it up was litterally plug and play. online support was actually helpful

I bought this wifi extender to replace one I had from 5 years ago. I needed dual band and this one did the job well. Installation was very easy and all you have to do is make sure to go and update the software. After that it operated smoothly. I have an art studio behind the house that’s 15 yards away and the extender reaches it through 2 walls no problem. Even 5ghz.

I was tired of always calling Mediacom and having them reset my router and complaining about speeds. I got this and installation was a breeze. I've not had any speed problems and have not had to reset it once. LOVE this! Trust me, get rid of the monthly cable company "rent" and get your own. You'll get better equipment and it'll be more reliable. Even their tech support said to buy my own. Why not get this one and enjoy streaming!

I had Media Com install the Internet in our home, in a centrally located area but it still not reach the apartment above our garage which was really not that far from our access point but it just didn't get it. Our son installed it for me in about 15 minutes and it now works great throughout our home. It was well worth the price and we have had no issues since it was installed.

I do live in a smaller sized house but i have the 1 gb internet from comcast and also have a netgear router but i have to say the house is older and the walls are thick. This product works very well for what it's intended to do which is extend my signal from the router. It keeps my internet streaming for the most part as long as comcast's signal is consistent. I would definitely recommend it provided u have good internet.

Sets up almost by itself but to get to more advanced items a little harder. not clear instructions.
