I'm not sure about range extenders anymore and the research and troubleshooting is just too much of a hassle trying to get a range extender to work properly!! What I did figure out is just using it as basically another router!! Get a long ethernet cable, connect it your home router, set it up and stick in the area with bad service!! And everyone's getting same awesome download/uploads speeds!! That's what this NETGEAR Nighthawk blah blah blah is currently accomplishing for my needs right now.... So yea

I us this as an extender in my motor home for my home or locations that we park that have Wi-Fi. it works great and very simple to use and change from one connection to the next.

I’ve brought two of these since they work so good... one for my business and one for my home. Wouldn’t recommend any of extender than this one.

Does exactly what it is supposed to do. It is placed in an out building and reaches 125 feet to the main WiFi router.
