Didn't want to cooperate with internet provider

It didn't want to cooperate with our AT&T setup, and Netgear tech support kept referring us back to AT&T saying the flaw was at that end. Once AT&T assessed and tested every inch of our home (interior, exterior and the sub-station blocks away,) it was squarely back on Netgear. The unit had poor coverage and an unreliable signal, in addition to scripted, not useful tech support from an overseas call center. Returned it for a Google Wifi system.

Big Improvement Over Previous Extender

I wanted more wifi strength and fewer drops. I have gotten both with the Nighthawk. My only complaint is the setup instructions, which were unclear to me. I finally had to call technical support (in India), and she helped me connect. Really, it was easy to do, but the instructions were confusing to a non-techie.

Great As An Access Point!
