Not ready for prime time yet

New Version 1.0.1.78_1.0.140 will cause internet connectivity issues. Stay with Firmware Version 1.0.0.62 until NETGEAR gets their act together!

Good Extender

The sales person recommended the smaller version of the one I bought.. I got the larger one which covers up to 10, 000 square feet. I wanted it to extend to the backyard. I am very happy bc the internet is available all around the house and in the backyard. Had somewhat of a difficult time to set up. The internet provider helped me and then we were good to go!

Great Extender for 4K streaming

This fit the bill perfectly. I have 400Mbs service with a Netgear AC1750 router. On the 5GHz I get 100+Mbs down with this extender. I am about 30 feet from my router through 2 exterior brick walls and up one floor. This is a cheaper solution than buying a new 3 piece mess setup. Setup is not difficult, but I manually set my network up. There is help on the web or via Netgear support should you require it

excellent range, configuration is "too" simple
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.this extender has great hardware, the software is a little too simple if you happen to have some technical expertise, and they act up if you put more than one on the network with matching SSIDs (this creates a "loop" in the network...), I would prefer if it had more advanced settings and didn't make you put in an email address and make a password just to configure it (what happened to admin-password?!?)
