After reading reviews i decided on this model. It has totally met my expectations. My main router is upstairs and i placed this one downstairs where my signal was dropping. Setup was very easy. Id say from box opening, reading instructions, picking a location, and completing setup.... all in all it was less than 1 hour. Couldn't be more pleased.

I added this extender with a Netgear R8000 network, everything is full bars in our house and property now. Very easy to setup. If you are using MAC filtering on your router you will need to reconfigure it with the virtual MAC addresses the EX7000 gives to any attached device.

I have tried upgrading my router, modem and internet service. Then tried the model beneath this one. Nothing worked. This was a last resort and it is amazing how fast and widespread throughout my house the Internet now is!

Have an old house thick walls, couldn't get reception throughout house. Set the extender up, and problems have disappeared. What surprised me was the ease of set up, took me less than 15 minutes to get it up and running

I have only had this for a few weeks but so far its been good. I now have coverage over the entire 5000sqft and front and back yard. The reason I did not give it 5 stars is because it does not mirror my router ID. You have to click on the new address ID but you can still use your original password. I guess I thought the Mesh feature just mirrored my existing modem/router but it does not. It links easily to original and maintains fast speed.

I needed a range extender for thge basement of our house. I already had the NIghthawk wireless router, but needed to extedd the range. I tried another RE, but my sone the Gamer complained frequently that the internet wasn't working (it was). Immediately upon setting up this RE, no more problems, even better no more complaining.

Easy to setup out of the box. Extends the range of your wireless router, however the throughput is much reduced if compared with direct connecting with the primary wireless router. I will upgrade my wireless router to a dual band and see if there is any improvement.

Excellent product. Setup was extremely easy and fast. I was able to extend my network to a couple of weak spots in my house. Also the overall signal strength in these areas was very strong as compared to not using the extender. I was able to get my network to extend to both my front and back patios so I could easily work outside. Great price for a very useful product. I liked the fact that I could add some devices to my network by use of the 5 Ethernet ports and the USB 3.0 port. I am using this AC1900 WiFi Range Extender in combination with my Netgear R7500 Nighthawk X4 AC2350 Dual Band WiFi Router. This is an excellent combination to maximize my WiFi network.

So Far So Good - Great Access Point For Home Use

I turned this thing into an access point to cover the full length of my house. I had dead spots in certain rooms. At first, I thought it wasn't working because it was so seamless (I am getting 150Mbps and -30dBm at all parts of the house) and thought maybe my original router was working better than expected. So I unplugged this bad boy and my connection dropped to 30-40 Mbps per second in those parts of the house and went up to -70+dBm. It was relatively easy for me to setup, I turned it into an access point, gave it the same SSID and password as my main router, and it was good to go. Hard wired the thing of course.

Even though we have the largest netgear router from Best Buy, the smart tv we bought for the treadmill couldn't get a good signal. The extended did the trick. Unfortunately we had to keep it close to the main router to get a great signal. But otherwise great.

The nighthawk ac1900 extender cover all the devices, from smartphone, tablets, laptop etc, did not drop any signal. It has to pass two bedrooms walls to reach the living room, no problem at all!

Another winner from NETGEAR, works as advertised and is very very fast, no buffering detected when streaming. Have other NETGEAR networking products and they are all quite STABLE products and do what they say they will do. Attractive design.

I had dead spots with my current wireless setup and needed a range extender. I looked at several brands and the Nighthawk series products were well reviewed. This product has worked well in my house and was very simple to setup - just press the WPS buttons on your router and you will be good to go!

Works well in extending the network, and also acting as a switch for devices not near your primary router/switch . Sometimes issues with the 5Ghz extended network not being visible and having to restart the unit, but only occasionally.

I was getting 2-3 bars of signal out of 5 with a download speed at around 12mps peak 18mps..this router gives me a full 5 bars with the option of 5ghz or 2.4ghz depending on device and my down speed improved to around 18mps peaking close to 33mps so yeah it made a difference

Recommended by a friend who uses it to boost signal to his boat docked at marina. Purchased my own. Now I can stream and play online video games on my boat.
