Comcast claimed that nothing but their extenders would provide what I needed, which is no big deal - just to get my laptop working. But my husband can't even get his phone on wifi in the same room. Somes the signal is great - other times nonexistent. I'm not in a concrete bunker with steel beams. Just the same old lower level. Previous wifi before going to Xfinity this and that worked fine. Mysteriously the wifi is now weak needing the extender. Also this one only works in the oddest of locations only inches from where it totally didn't.

I have Verizon, with a router in the garage (1st Floor) and a Verizon booster (3rd Floor) and I was still experiencing dead spots in my home. Picked this up, placed it in the dinning room (2nd Floor) and BOOM!. Absolutely perfect coverage on all floors, extending both the 2,4 and 5 ghz. Could not be more happy.

Ok when it works

Unfortunately, I've had to reset it or reconnect it to my router more times than I would like. It's not cheap so I expected better but it works 80% of the time.

My wireless coverage is better

I bought this to see if I can improve my wireless coverage, it did indeed. Now I can stream videos to the TVs in the patio (I couldn't before), definitely a lot of improvements overall on my network.
