We purchased this device with the understanding it was a middle of the road product. So far, it seems to be working well but coverage sometimes seem intermittent. Meaning some days we can be outside with great coverage and others seem coverage just okay.

Definitely improved the wifi coverage for large home

This thing is impressive! The Netgear Nighthawk WiFi range extender allowed us to get a strong WiFi signal in places where there was previously little to no signal. We live in an old house with thick walls and interior stone. This was the perfect solution for boosting WiFi signal strength!

I have found the netgear extender to be a wonderful addition to my home network. I have no dead spots in my house any longer. The slowest area in my house is now 30 MBPS, originally I couldn't maintain a connection in that room do to household interference. Great addition to any network.

Usually works well, only issue is every other day or so will not issue IP address, have to switch off and back on then works for a day or two more. When working, extends WiFi throughout house.

I changed this thing into an access point for my house to complement my Linksys Router, does a wonderful job but it is a little tricky to setup so don’t expect it to be easy. If you can handle a bit of configuration, get it, if not go for an easier to setup model

Could be better. Strength is not what it should be.

Guests were having spotty reception of our Wi-Fi in our guest house. It is about 75 feet from our netgear x4 router. Installed without issue - watched the video on the netgear website. They have good reception now. Can’t say much about speed We only get 5 MPS in our rural location

my only issue is with iphone. the iphone sometimes has difficulty connecting to the wifi in which case I power off the extender and it works. I need to look at the iphone.

I had a smaller internet extender, but it wasn't strong enough for the whole house. This one gets me good coverage anywhere. I only wish that my phone would switch to the main network automatically when it's stonger than the extender.

I just put up my 4k tv in a back pool house and wanted to make sure that I could stream all content. This booster is about 30 feet an two exterior walls away and the streaming is flawless.

The Netgear Nighthawk AC1900 has been working great to extend our wifi coverage. We no longer have dead spots within our home, and can even get coverage beyond our property lines. Setup isn't hard so long as your router has a WPS button on it.

Was relatively easy to link to the home wifi. Then I walked to the end of the yard with wifi to my iphone. There have been some occasional issues with our iphones in the same room as this extender.

This dual band router is worth the 160 dollars! It is easy to configure, never overheats, and has great and accurate beam forming. If you are on the fence wait no longer and pick up this AP. This has to be one of the best values in the prosumer selection.

I need an extender cause my wireless box was upstairs and I didn't get a very good signal downstairs. I hooked this bad boy downstairs and it works great. I have full wifi signal in my whole house, backyard and all away across the street in my front yard. Well worth the price!

It’s did what it’s supposed to and extended my wifi! The WiFi was not the best in the far corners and this fixed it perfectly. Highly recommend if your having the same problems!

Pretty decent and consistent. Just be mindful of you have the priority set to one computer it will cause the rest to lag. I spent a few hours trying to figure it out when I realized my son set his computer as the high priority. Once unchecked we all had strong connections.

does extend the range of the wifi signal, but will never get close to your actual wifi speed of your normal router.

I put the extender up and I went from 2 bars of WiFi service and 16mbps down to 4 bars of WiFi and 250mbps down. Works perfectly. It’s a bit pricy but worth every penny if you need to get your WiFi signal out to remote areas of your house/property

I have used other product types but didn't want to spend a lot on these types of devices. I have had a spot in my home that i was always dropping WiFi service. I changed to this extender and now have full coverage. I would highly recommend buying the Netgear - Nighthawk Ac1900
