The instructions have you install an app and take some steps to get your phone and the router talking over wireless for configuration.

Have a house with many walls to interfere with WIFI and this works great to provide strong signal through the entire house.

Easy setup, this router is just as good as the more expensive gaming routers. I saw a big improvement in speed and quality of service.

Inconsisten performance, When works normally, excellent. But when speed goes down, it is difficult to set it up, modem when wired gives better speed. Gives trouble many a times, I work from home. Some time I get irritated with its performance. Sometimes after few reboots it works normally. Netgear, when called, says out of warrany and need @$100 for tech support to fix it.

Replaced an aging router. The signal is strong and I've had no issues connected my various products to the router.

Got a new WiFi router and modem at the same time, maybe should have installed separately. Eventually got it, all works very well

bought this router to improve internet speed. It has done that but still need more speed like everyone else lol

Used for close to two years, performing well. I could not got better at this price point.

But the best thing is the app. It has remote access and allows for easy management of the bands, along with a guest account.

simple to say that I am satisfied with my purchase. covers over 1200 sqrft. we stream movies and not lagging occurs.

This is a great router, Easy to setup and use. Really like the fact that you can monitor everything from the Nighthawk App.

Upgraded an old router and this improved speeds as expected. No dropped connections like other routers I've tried.
