A bit difficult to install because there are no printed instructions. Never did get the second band set up but we don't really need it so...However, it really improved the range of our Wi-Fi and we now have good service in every room of the split-level house ( the router and modem are in the basement office).

Range isn't anything crazy but the 5ghz speeds are above par. This says it's for large homes however there is significant drops in wifi xfer speeds on the 2.4ghz network between floors. I live in a ranch with basement so this shouldnt be happening. Otherwise it's a very solid performer for the price.

I purchased this router as an upgrade to my parents Netgear N600. Setup was smooth and as expected from the Netgear Software. Only thing I didn’t catch when selecting this router was there is not USB port on the back of the router, only the front. Otherwise it has been performing well.

After two plus years settling with the router Spectrum installed and planning to ‘cut the cord’, it was time to take matters in my own hand. Prior this upgrade I hand download speeds at 13.1mbps, I’m now at 335mbps. Needless to say I’m displeased with Spectrum for providing lousy routers.

This router was setup as an access point to extend the range of my original wifi. It is connected to my original router via cable. Installation was very simple using Netgear's wizard. I didn't expect the wizard it to work but it worked well, even for a nonstandard installation.

Caught this on sale for $90, best router I have owned so far. Netgear also has an app that makes it super easy to manager all of your connected devices, kick people off the network and even shut it down for dinner time.

I use both wifi bands. 2.4GHz for Ipad, Desktop, HP printers & cell phones and 5Ghz for 5 HD TVs streaming, eliminating all cable boxes and using Roku and Samsung 4K HDTV. With 100MB internet, this supplies appropriate bandwidth to cover Internet streaming for everything.

I have the 200mb plan with spectrum it's good and everything but the router normal wifi shuts down every now and then and I have to switch to 5G every now and then other then that it's good there also the option with the app download to do a smart connection

I bought this for my parents as the old router I had purchased had too short of a range. So far, there has been nothing but wonderful things said about the new router and the quality of the internet. The set up was easy enough for me to walk my dad through over the phone.

I have epb 1gb internet and it pushes the 1gb threw Ethernet cable and 800-850 wifi wise. I have a 2100 home and my router is n my basement and covers the whole house including the back deck. The app making is easy to walk around your home to see if you have dead zones.
