This is a good router but not great. It is not the easiest to set up and the app is quirky. Some of the issue could be my sub par internet service provider but it essentially gets the job done.

I tried to watch you tube and I lost connection. I am not sure if it was the movie that I was watching or if it’s the wireless netgear. I will let you know once I watch a little more. If not then I am returning it

After owning it for 10 months, the unit starts to disconnect you from all internet with DNS errors. For a while I could turn it off and back on and it would restore service. Now, even after firmware upgrade to latest, doing so again did nothing. I've had to factory reset it twice. Works for a while then back in the cycle again. Netgear will NOT help you because the test says it isn't a hardware issue and phone support is only 90 days. Do NOT buy.

I cannot fairly rate this item I had to take back. I was trying to take away my Verizon fios router and replace with net gear. Was not able to with Verizon fios so had to return this router.

awesome router honestly I unfortunately had mine bricked due to an error during a firmware update and netgear wants me to pay the price of the router to get it fixed

Works well after getting it set up, but it could not be set up through the app as it said in the instructions, had to hard connect in and go that route.

Drops signal especially to my nest thermostat and the rings outside it’s really weak in a small house. Not in love but it’s okay

Installation was not as easy thru the app. Wifi signal was not as strong as my 7 yrs old belkin.

I wouldn't buy again, router can't even keep up with a small house full of wireless items.

after few months of use the ethernet ports keep dropping data. wouldnt buy again

Good for an average speed internet. Isn't capable of pushing 1gb speed

I was hoping to get a better signal from this router than what is getting to my pc.

I wish it stayed the same when I bought it. Net gear has since then released updates that has brought their personal ads into the router config. Very disappointing. I also run into problems with random internet drops and ports becoming temporarily faulty.

This was easy to set up and powerful. After about six months it started to reboot itself on a death spiral. Netgear should focus on the insides not the pretty exteriors.

A year and a half in and this router has finally meet the end. It looses connection constantly. Not even stable enough to connect to router via hardwire. Pings are constantly timing out.

One of the antennas was loose and could not position well... Was unable to get a reading on my smartphone neither was I able to have access to the Internet from this router... I will be returning it for another device

Replaced a 7 year old router with this and had issues getting it to work. Told I needed a internet protection before it would work Paid for that, not cheap. It doesn't preform any better that the old router.
