I bought this router to replace my previous 1750 Nighthawk model. The 1750 was no joke but I do enjoy the expanded coverage provided by the AC2600. I mainly bought this model because it was over 50% off the retail price when I bought it ($89). I hope it will last for many years to come...Now I just need to update my modem?

We have had to buy more than one of these Netgear routers. I don't know why we go thru so many routers but finally I believe this one has made it the longest without giving out. I don't know much about these routers but I do know that this one has not let us down.

Easy setup and Fast Speed. I was actually quite surprised!

Range is better than my spectrum router. Speed is fast.

I purchased a couple of these devices for computer customers and setup was very simple and straightforward. Router is providing better wifi than the devices they had previously and no problems so far. I really wish Netgear had a better tech support team when needed and a warranty which was a full year instead of 90 days support.

Love this router. We have several Smart TV's, Ipads, Iphones, Kindles, laptops and other smart devices and this router handles them all. The coverage is excellent. There is no buffering even with the TV on the back porch. Best Buy pricing for this item was fantastic, A Black Friday deal. I would definitely buy this router again.

This router lives up to its name! If you enjoy consistent speeds for things like 4K streaming, downloading large files, or online gaming, the Nighthawk is for you. I picked this up at a very low price point during the 2019 holiday sales (89.99). That being said, if you are serious about upgrading or improving the wifi range in your home, it is worth its current price point, too. Speaking of range: I live in a two-story, three-bedroom home with my router and modem downstairs, and my gaming rig upstairs on the opposite side of the house. I have 100% signal strength upstairs and a ping of 12ms with only a slight dip in download speed compared to my wired units downstairs. I don't even notice when I play online games using a wireless connection. If you have even a little bit of experience setting up a home network, this router will not give you any trouble whatsoever. I recommend, as the box did, that you first download the Nighthawk app to your phone before you proceed with install. It makes analytics, speedtesting, and optimizing that much easier! Also, the app lets you adjust (or turn off) the status lights on the unit!

I haven't had no issues with this router Netgear is good quality just don't run out on your warranty case because then you have to pay, other than that the coverage is good I have a 5 bedroom home works great. No lagging my youngest son has a xbox my oldest son has a playstation does great.

The first one worked ok for a week, then TV steaming kept getting worse and eventually TVs would disconnect from streaming services after 10min. Wireless internet was getting slower as well on laptops and tablets and IoT devices disconneting. Speed tests from the N-Hawk app were good. - 50Mbps down 3Mbps up, rebooting and factory resetting made no difference/no improvement. This was definitely a bad wireless radio in the unit since all cabled devices were fine. Took it back to BBuy and exchanged for another one and this one has been running good for 2 weeks now. Would I recommend? Yeah for the sale price $89 - not for $189 regular price. This is a nice mid range product- moderate to heavy internet usage - multiple video streams, gaming, IoT devices and surfing. It will do the job but there are better products out there, just have to pay more to get more.

Got this router to replace my previous one that I had for at least 5 years and was time to upgrade. So far no complaints. It was easy to set and connect. I’ve connected my 4K tv along with several other devices and the connection so far is very good, much better than my previous router. I would recommend this router.

The nighthawk AC2600 router has been a major upgrade to my previous. The connection is fast, the download speed is high quality, and my ping is consistently under 20ms. This is great for any household that is trying to upgrade the internet connection. Unfortunately, the router does struggle a tiny bit when streaming 4K video and with high level gaming streaming simultaneously. However, for the regular household that just needs reliable internet connection to surf the web, watch YouTube, and stream Netflix, this is more than capable and is very reliable. The mobile app lets you keep track of your connected devices, while allowing you to run connection test speeds and gives you test history so you can compare and contrast how well the router performs under different levels of devices connected. Very good buy for the price (when on sale).

I needed a newer Router and wanted to be able to remove my kids access to the Wi-fi when they start running those mouths. The app let's you see which devices are connected to the wifi and hardwired to the ethernet jacks. The app also lets the admin turn off the internet for any device be it wifi or hardwired.

This has been a great household router. It allows for combining of 2.4 and 5 SSIDs which my previous router and the AC1700 do not. This is great so devices will auto switch as needed or if range decreases with the 5Ghz. The nighthawk app is easy to use and the web interface is fast and easy to configure.

A really nice Wi-Fi router. I love the app that pairs with it I can control everything from my phone. If I need to reset the router I don’t even have to touch it I can do it all from the app. This router handles everything very well I haven’t had any problems with it.

Was able to get this on sale, which was a bonus. I was in need of a stronger signal in my house (approximately 19,000 sq. ft. rancher) and this baby did the trick. I highly recommend it. Full disclosure: I did have a young friend set it up for me, so if you are not very tech savvy, get some help.

This is an outstanding router for the features and price. Easy to setup and connect to my Netgear docsis 3 modem. The only thing we couldn't figure out was how to setup wireless printing to a laser printer. The router software indicated that could be enabled.
