I got this router to replace the one I was given by my internet provider because it did not have enough to reach all the rooms in my (not big) house. The router is very fast and has good features, such as bridge mode, but the range was not any better on either the 2 or 5GHz channels.

My wifi is 100 times better on the top floor of my townhouse. I should have bought this much earlier! I have the router on the ground floor. Was having wifi issues on the third floor. After installing this router, I can stream from my TV with much less issues.

No issues with this router what so ever. Before my gamer son moved in we purchased this just to have good coverage and once he came and got the gaming thing set up not once did we have any slowing down or issues of any kind and we are in a 9200 sq ft home.

This router isn't much on fanfare nor is it needy of my attention. It's a serious workaholic that has a just as serious and straightforward app. to accompany it. It may be slightly uptight but it's not unfriendly - in fact, it's quite user-friendly.

Covers a 2 story 1600 sf house with ease. Guest WiFi also easy to set up. Did have one brick during setup, but that was an issue with the ISP installer pushing an update before the router was ready. Quick return, got back home and back online in minutes.

Needed a new router due to diminishing performance of previous Netgear router, and the value of this one was too good to pass up. Set up using web portal as opposed to app, interface is exactly the same as the one used for old router. Noticed immediate improvement when streaming on Fire Stick. Getting advertised ISP download speed on 5G band (with typically about two devices connected) and about one-third of advertised download speed on 2.4G band (with about seven devices connected). Currently using in one-floor, 1000-square-foot home with router set up in room in corner of home where the door is usually closed. Will be moving to bigger home with three levels soon and plan to update this review then.

I brought this router to replace my verizon fios supplied router. This was a perfect replacement. The wireless quality is a much better improvement over the former router. The set up was fast and easy. Multiple inputs for wired connections.

Thought it was very easy to download app and swap this out with old router. Does have lots of lights on it that are very bright and blinking all the time so need to cover those if in a bedroom or will keep you up.Other than that works great!

I don't know what else to say except that this router has been probably one of the best decisions I've made. Theres about 5 of us that streams and plays games in the house and this robust device is able to handle it all wirelessly.

Bought this router to replace an aging Wireless-N router at my parents' house. Range and usable bandwidth increased dramatically, perfect for a two-story home with enough reach to get to the pool in the middle of their fairly long yard.

Replaced my old NETGEAR to upgrade to current Bandwidths and this really was a great find. Purchased on sale and it works great, even has an APP that you can check on other users and current speeds. Excellent purchase.

The Netgear Nighthawk came highly recommended by a Cpx Communication rep at the national call center, and I'm glad he did because paired with the new Wi-Fi they sent me the internet service is so much faster. Excellent product.

We've had this for over a year and a half. Never had any issues or problems. Range is good with no need for extenders. Love the fact that it supports 2.4 and 5G. Guest wifi is also an option to set up.

Going from AC1700 this router feels really fast and has a good signal range. Its a steal for this price $89.

I purchased this router on Black Friday 2019 at a great price of $89.00! Regular price was $189.00. A lil hard to setup, but once I got it up and running everything that's connected to wifi is no longer lagging or buffering!!

Replaced the cable company provided router with this one and the signal strength is amazing. My ring doorbell volume is even louder because of it. I now have wifi outside of my house which I've never had. Highly recommend.

It is increase a lot my WIFI speed, before I had an old Router, even I had a very fast internet speed, but the router can not keep up the speed, after I change to his one , worth to buy it. and it is in a good price

In my life I've never had a router that was perfect. They all seem to have problems within the first couple years, such as dropped internet connection, dropped 5 ghz band, resetting itself to factory settings at random times, etc. Never had a router I liked, so I don't believe in spending hundreds of dollars on something that eventually will need to be replaced, likely in a year or so. I got this router at a Black Friday price, and so far as an access point (connected to a primary router via the WAN port) it is doing its job. The UI is typically useful Netgear fare, and has everything an average consumer needs. Do yourself a favor, don't overspend on routers. Go with a brand name like Netgear,but be prepared to replace it in a year or so.

So I’ve been uso g this router for about 4 months now. It does drop from time to time. And I have checked firmware to see if it’s that but no it’s just the device itself. Other than that great router
