Junk! Do not purchase!

Dealt with netgear for a month trying to get this to work. Could not get more than 200mbps on eifi and ethernet. They blame Comcast. Finally got an x7 from Comcast, works great! Netgear will not back thier product. Told to deal with BB.

A $400 paper weight

Calling Netgear is a joke, they are useless, unless you want to pay for a extended tech support fee. Horrible product, horrible Netgear support. Now I'm stuck with a malfunctioning $400 paper weight.

Poor wifi

It makes my internet slow.

Very disappointed,Cannot be provisioned
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just purchased this modern and router, thought I was going to get great speeds and uninterrupted Wi-Fi only to be disappointed when spectrum informed me that this modem and router can’t be provisioned. I’m going to return it the first thing in the morning. It said SPECTRUM, it just cannot be provisioned for high speed internet by spectrum.

0 stars. Piece of crap

It kept losing the connection to the internet and I had to power cycle every few hours to reconnect. Just a reboot wouldn't work.

Connection and Power problems

Also, after connecting the power a couple of times the receptor where the power cord connects pushed in a little and the power was not making a good connection.

Awful

Spent about 2 hours on the phone with Xfinity and Netgear. Everything good on Xfinitys end showing 1100mbps. This Router is getting 3!!!!!!!!! 3mbps for almost $400 Netgear just said to return it.

dosnt work w/app as advertised

Garbage don’t buy

They have a tendency to die after a couple of months. What occurs is that you loose 5g then eventually 2g, then total system failure. Net gear was no help really and after 1 month no support is available. Buy at your own risk.

Not worth the money

Stay away if you have Xfinity

Nighthwak Dual Band Ac3200

Even standing next to it was not giving me satisfactory bandwidth. I called my internet service provider and he confirmed the modem has some problem. I returned it.

5GHZ Drops

Had some issues with the 5ghz dropping. A quick google search revealed that this is a common issue. I haven't had the problem in a few days but if it keeps up i'm returning this.

Poor performance

Terrible Netgear router

I would not recommend the nighthawk product to anyone. I have replaced it with an Arris surfboard cable modem and a Linksys wifi router.
