Good, not great.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First off, this thing is huge! About the size of a small notebook computer. MGood product but as with most networking devices they are never as simple as “plug and play”. I had to log into the admin portal multiple times to get the wireless portion running correctly. After finally getting all my devices connected I get a message on the app saying the firmware is out of date. Of course Netgear says the ISP has to update the firmware and my ISP says the manufacturer has to update it so here I am with a product that most likely isn’t up to date with no one to fix it. Wireless range and access seem to be fine, I’m no net wizard so as far as I can tell my movies and games all work without any hiccups. I’ve only had to reboot the router once for dropping internet.

SUPER FAST
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best one on the market and even surprised the Xfinity installer as he had not seen one yet. Super fast and will go beyond the 1000 speed service they provide.

Worth the purchase
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to use for an experienced Tech Guy, but did not work with Alexa even though Alexa can initially "discover" it. Range and speed are top teir with having 3 data hog devices, online gaming and streaming and a massive amount of smarthome devices connected.

Netgear Nighthawk
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great modem and router. Easy to setup and use. Good performance. Supported by a number of different cable companies. My only complaint is that it seems expensive compared to other brands and models. If it works and it lasts a long time it is worth it. Time will tell.

Reliable Unit - Costly Support
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As always, Netgear wants you to purchase their support care. I had issues with the firmware update and they charged me over $100 dollars to correct the issue. It has been a solid unit from a quality perspective, but watch a YouTube video before spending the extra money.

Great router/modem !
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve had this router/modem for a couple of weeks now, and I can honestly say, worth every dime. Haven’t had a problem with it, and it never slows down ! I have 15 different items connected to the WiFi, and never slowed down once, plus it covers my whole house with no problems ! Over 2000 square feet !

Fantastic Router/Modem
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This thing works incredibly well. The range on the WiFi is great, even through multiple rooms and walls. We have it hooked up to a 1gig connection, and get the majority of it, even through WiFi. If you have multiple gaming systems and smart TVs running at the same time, this will keep them running smoothly.

Solid Modem. Worth the price.
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Must have if you need high speed access. A word of caution, if you're not getting the speeds you think you should be getting, try replacing the "main" cable "splitter" located in your home. If your splitter does not have enough band to push the data to you, then it is not a modem issue. I have the 1,000 Gig download from Xfinity, but was only getting about 200 gigs of download. Found out my splitter was old and could not compensate. Once I replaced the splitter I starting getting 600-700gigs of reliable download speeds.

Best modem router we’ve ever purchased
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We just upgraded to gig speed internet (xfinity) and we needed to upgrade our modem router. So glad we chose this one. With a 2200 sq ft house, this is the first time we haven’t needed to use Wifi extenders. We use 3 TVs, 2 desktops, 3 laptops, 3 iPads, and 4 phones on the network without issue.

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We recently moved to a 1000 sq foot condo to a 2400 sq foot house and needed to upgrade our wifi output. The performance is amazing! No lag on the wifi when running multiple devices. Would definitely recommend!

Great purchase
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Finally found a Modem/Router that actually does exactly what the manufacture says it will do. I am pleasantly surprised by its range. We have about 4500 sq ft home and it covers all of it plus we can go outside and receive signal for about another 100 ft.

Great Modem/Router Combo
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I upgraded my internet to gigabit and needed a new modem/router. I previously had a nighthawk which worked perfectly for 3 years. I've had this new modem/router for about a month and it is working great. It covers my whole apartment fine and I am getting great speed.

Easy to set up and FAST
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was purchased to replace a ARRIS modem/router I use on xfinity/Comcast. It was way easier to setup than the ARRIS. I could not get WIFI in back bed rooms and driveway, but with the Nighthawk not only can it reach these hard to reach areas, there is a strong signal. I had to reboot my iPhone 6s almost every time I tried to use the WIFI, but not with the Nighthawk. And last of all the wife claims her pc (hardwired) is faster on the internet. Very pleased with this modem/router. I would highly recommend it to anyone that wanted to upgrade for stability, simplicity, better coverage, and speed.

Router of all routers
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this router to get out from under the internet company's rental fee. It's basically throwing money away. Yes, this router is a little on the pricey side, but we have a big house and need maximum signal output. This router handles a LOT of Wifi devices all at once. Streaming, cellphones, security system, cameras, monitors, the entire house is WiFi smart. I would definitely recommend this router to anyone that has a lot of devices or over 3000 sqft house.

Good device, tricky to set up
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Device works well, but we found it to be a little tricky to change the password. Multiple attempts were needed before the password would work and communicate with other devices. Strong signal and plenty of coverage for our home

Netgear Nailed it
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Made wifi go from average to excellent. The range one the 2.4ghz band and speed on the 5 ghz band is amazing. It is a little pricey but worth it. Has wifi 6 too which makes it future proof.

Great device if you don't care to use the app
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works with Xfinity bundles after reading it didn't worked took a chance and it works perfect. Fast and reliable. Only bad thing is the app that comes with it somehow the app can't recognize it so you'll have to type the router ip and change settings.

Easy Setup - Screaming Speed
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Connected easily with my cable internet provider and works seamlessly with my devices. Provides speed for gaming and streaming so it was perfect. It is taller than my previous router (and many I looked at) so if you're thinking of purchasing, be sure to take this into account.
