    Do Not Get It

Had this Nighthawk for about 3 months. Looking to mesh the Wi-Fi throughout the house to get dead zones. Install was very easy no issues at all. After a few weeks of installation I noticed my devices wouldn’t connect. Had to reset the router several times a day. Playing on my Xbox series x I had a ton of issues. Lags and even lags out. My streaming services would disconnect. It was bad! I had so many things disconnect from the router and had a hard time even using the Wi-Fi. Ultimately I disconnected it and went back to the company router. Looking for a more complete mesh system then this. Do not recommend.

Absolutely worth the few extra dollars to get WiFi 6. For not being the most technical and Triband this mesh works very well.

The app walked me through the entire process and waited until the very last possible step to finally say it's not compatible with my Netgear Modem C7000. It did not say the mesh network is not compatible with my modem. It says that the app is not compatible with my modem. Thanks. I didn't know Netgear only hires trolls. Hilarious.

ever since we bought the Nighthawk AX1800 we have issues with both the internet losing IP address and one camera going off line all the time. We are changing internet providers to get a faster speed, hopefully this helps. So far not very happy.

I wanted to like this system, I really did. I loved it at first, but over time, it became very unreliable. And by time, I'm talking two months. Constant reboots required, just generally unreliable. I have it paired with a 1 gig fiber connection which is mostly stable. Hardwired, 900+ up and down, but with this, even right next to the main unit, best is 400 on a phone, 500 on a laptop, and what's worse is the constant dropping. I mean constant - several times per day. Reset, rebooted, retired... over and over. Avoid this if you want frustration-free. When it's good, it's good, but more often than not, it's not good.
