Not sure yet but my Internet seems slower. But for the money definitely worth it

Difficult to set up poor documentation. Must use phone to set up, then no documentation or help.

Apparently all newer netgear routers now require a modem. I have fiber to the door the isp steps down to a rj45 so all i have to do is plug in the router & go. Not so w/ the newer nighthawks and I even called netgear help about it. I have an asus router arriving tomorrow.

Complicated setup, useless app. I never in my life had difficulty setting up or using a router but this one was a piece of work. It also makes connecting to the internet very difficult by blocking basic sites for unknown reasons. We tolerated this router for about a month but I am taking it back first thing tomorrow.

Setup was long and time consuming. Wireless signal doesn’t appear to be stable.

I purchased it to replace a router that was about 12-years old. The Netgear router has done NOTHING to improve the signal for my Ring camera. The signal strength (RSSI) never goes lower than 67 and frequently is 70 to 73. Getting it to connect with my printer and computer (also purchased from Best Buy) was a nightmare! If I still had the old router I would hook that one back up and put the Netgear router in the garbage. NOT happy spending that much money on something that is no better than one 12-years old!!

Phone app leaves a lot to be desired. Too many ads for software. VERY slow updates.

Not very good coverage contrary to what they claim. Had a 12 year old belkin that covered more area

Not good and wanna return it but lost the box. If doesn’t even work cause it disconnects every hour or so for like 5-10 minutes sometimes even more and it messes up my game or tv

This unit failed after only 6 months. There were intermittent network connections and fails. Our internet provider checked the connection and it was determined that our router was failing. Last week we connected our old router and it has been working perfectly since then. We contacted Best Buy Online Chat and was told we could return it to Best Buy under the 1 year hardware warranty. Customer Service would not help us because we did not buy the extended warranty and we were told to deal directly with NETGEAR. So far we are stuck with an expensive piece of plastic.

Didn’t give 5 stars as it wasn’t the right product for us so I don’t know how well it actually works.

Signal is strong, lights are perfect.... not to bright like previous models. The app is a complete waste of time. The pop up marketing adds are a pain to deal with. Port forwarding is harder to get done than prevous models.

great item. Our computer started working correctly. We had a very old router before and many problems that was related to that. We are happy we purchased.

This router started off strong was easy to setup and everything. 3 weeks later it started losing internet connection every hour for about 10 minutes. NO SECURITY FEATURES WITHOUT A PAID SUBSCRIPTION OF $100 PER YEAR!!! RIDICULOUS. P.S. you have to pay for tech support aswell. Buy ASUS instead!! You wont regret it. P.S.S. you will also see a decrease in internet speed

after 1 yr 3 mo this product have to keep rebutting. Call 866-534-9377 spoke to rep. Since 90 day warranty lapse will have to pay a fee for tech support. Already paid $175 when purchased. Will be going to get internet provider router. Would not recommend this product to anyone. It’s totally lost for it to go out a year and five months.

After One year, router got a virus. When we called they said we had to purchase their security plan. $450 for the life of the router! I will never buy their any of their products and I advise you to look at a different router

Horrible product. Didn't last 5 months. Netgear only offers 90 warranty its obvious why. Would never buy another Netgear product, after 3 months the router started dropping the wifi signal constantly. They wanted payment for tech support to help. Stay away from Netgear products.
