    Was not happy, Was having problems setting up the SATELLITEs (MS80), 1of2 Satellite was connecting. Reseting. unplugging. Syncing none of the instructions was working. Even though is a tri-band and Wifi 6 which is good. the setting up and the NETGEAR app are not using friendly in comparison to the GOGGLE app. This company needs to work on the app functionally. GOGGLE may not have the advance technology but the app and functions are more user friendly.

    Worst product! This product has EXTREMELY slow speeds through all of its ethernet ports. I have contacted Netgear support and all of their resolutions have failed. I will be returning this product as my smartphone hubs are unresponsive as a result of the slow speeds coming through the ethernet ports. Wifi speeds also fluctuate drastically!

    I had high hopes for this product as I have trusted Netgear and the Nighthawk systems for years. This one was a miss for our home. Initially it was great, gigablast speeds throughout the home. But it would drop from a Wi-Fi speed of 400-700 mbps to roughly 6 mbps multiple times a day. We would do a reboot and get the fast speeds again. After 2 days and too many reboots to count we returned this.

    I don't know what's going on but this progressively gets worse the longer you have it. The only saving grace is that you can reboot your router through the app because by month 3 the rate you have to reboot to maintain your speeds will go from once a week to twice a day. App says I'm getting 230 down, then I run speed test on the furthest machine and I get 5 down. Machine far away so it's going slower? No. As soon as I reboot my machine's browser changes to 200+ like it should. I even have the mesh router cabled to the 1st satellite then that cabled to the 2nd satellite which is cabled to my desktop and the exact same issue happens to it has nothing to do with the wavering strength of wifi. Absolutely would not recommend this and it's an absolute scam for it to cost this much and conveniently peter out after it's no longer refundable.

    Read decent product reviews however, setting it up was painful and they try forcing you to buy support plans. Their war is only for a few days and then $$$$$ Please do your due diligence before you make the purchase

    Easy to set up but coverage is very spotty. Phone does not hand off efficiently between satellites when moving around.

    Great on paper, very poor performance in reality

    Now that the product is no longer returnable (of course), I am experiencing significant speed issues when connecting via ethernet to the satellites. Netgear support suggested returning it, after disabling Wifi6 and changing the MTU settings. I bought this as an "upgrade" to my older Orbi mesh system. I will never buy a Netgear product again.

    Great solution for wireless connections

    Bought this set it up and it worked great wirelessly but it does not have an ethernet port to connect to a switch for the wired devices in the house so I had to take it back, otherwise a good product

    Before upgrading routers I wasn't able to play online games and steam tv or connect my phone and watch TV for that matter. After upgrading router, I can do all at the same time. Definitely would recommend.

    Had issues with slow internet despite purchasing fast speeds, connectivity issues, and spotty coverage. This has fixed all of those issues. The coverage we now get is way more than what we had. Have had no issues with the internet stuttering. Blink cameras load uo way quicker than previously. Very easy set up. Well explained. Would recommend. Only downside is we could previoisly select what connected to which channel (5g or 2.5g) and we can no longer do that. However it is my understanding that this device automatically does that.

    This was a replacement buy for a similar unit I now have it working but the software was an issue having to reboot several times The original unit was very easy which made this issue a bit of a surprise Also NetGear support was difficult to use and not very”supportive.”

    STAY AWAY! BUYER BEWARE! Worked for a month.. then signal issues began. I would have to reset it once a month and now I’m doing it daily. I’m beyond frustrated and looking for a replacement. Stay clear away from this system.

    I have always been brand loyal to Netgear, this unit replaced my less than 18 month old RAX50 unit. Thought this unit would be an upgrade, when in fact it has been a major step back. Really considering going back to that.... Anyway, my reason for disappointment is because of the substantially reduced speeds at the satellites. I also have been unable to get my second satellite to link for over 3 months now. Reset everything, try to re-link multiple times, nothing, just blinks white. Very frustrating. Making me second guess my loyalty when it is time for my next upgrade.

    After 13 months one of our satellites quit working. Customer service wouldn’t do anything. We spent 499.99 on the mesh system and 399.00 on the modem to not have it all work properly after just a year. Very disappointing.

    This mesh system did not work despite multiple re-start and trouble shooting attempts we ended up with a $300 system that is sitting in the basement while we use our old Eero that works better.

    Item not working as expected. Still getting slow connection after setting everything correctly. Mesh system is indicating its getting 900 mbs pur nothing is transferring to any of my devices.

    Nighthawk mess network. Look for another product.

    I have had this mesh product for ~ 1 year. They started out working great. It has since been a downhill battle with these devices. These devices over the past 3 months have been nothing short of worthless. I have had to Factory Reset them 4 times now in the last 3 months. 1 of the 2 Satellites has completely lost its ability to use wifi as backhaul device. Just sits at a blinking white light. I have reset and tried to resync 2 or 3 times. Oh, and Netgear's support is just worthless. Look elsewhere for a mesh product. I am going to.
