Failed after return period

Worst setup
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had the worst experience setting up this Netgear Nighthawk (Nightmare) mesh system. I have had other mesh systems that were very simple to setup. Finally, after MANY attempts it finally connected. However, anytime I went into the app to setup I kept getting error cannot reach server!! After an hour of this I finally got my other devices hooked up to it. Now I'm trying to get into the app and it says "We can't find your Router," even though my devices are still working. I keep getting responses such as "In your device settings, ensure that your mobile device is connected to your Router network" and it is every time. I would close the app and try again to get a different response such as "Disconnect the VPN on your mobile device, then try connecting again." My VPN on my phone is and has always been disconnected." Close the app and open again, and now It's telling me to "turn bridge mode off and try using the app again." This system seems to be the most high maintenance system I have ever dealt with. I'm wondering what other excuses this system is going to come up with to blame. Closed app and opened 1 last time to get a response "Ensure that your Router is powered on and connected to your modem." What!? I'm using my computer to type this on the internet connected to the Netgear Nightmare!!! I'm done with this and returning.

Horrible

Was upgrading our old mesh network to something newer and more advanced but our 6 year system beats this one by a lot! We have a 3200sqft house with 28 device hooked up to it and have been losing signal left and right. Speed test shows were only getting 45mbps. Our older system we’d get 180. Returning this immediately and looking for something else to meet our needs

Worst purchase ever

Garbage in an overpriced mesh mold.

Getting in contact with Netgear is a pain. Just wrote off the loss and bought new wireless APs from a different manufacturer. Would lose connection often even when all 3 were still working.

If you are beyond the 90 days of complimentary support and you need additional technical support you will be asked to purchase an extended support contract, but if the device has failed and needs to be replaced you will not be charged for the support call, since this is covered under the hardware replacement warranty.
