  • Keeps Going Off Line Have to reboot constantly

    The 2.4 GHz band keeps going off line. It's only 6 months old. This is really bad because our security system and other smart devices use the 2.4 GHz. Very disappointed. Tech support is difficult to decipher. Even though it is under warranty the app is no use. Had to dig on the website to find a way to request help. They probably want me to ship it. Which is of no use, then we will be out of wifi and my security system would be off line.

    It actually has stable my connection better and i receive my wifi speed that i pay for hah But a little difficult to setup took like 2 hour

    This thing is bad. It's not as fast as my old router that was a Asus. The connectivity is terrible, it constantly disconnects if you Enable AX, which enables OFDMA. Once I disabled that, at least it didn't disconnect me. But if I transfer something to the net drive, it slows down to 10MB/sec. It's just a terrible router and I wish I didn't buy Netgear.

    The Nighthawk AX4200 model was easy to setup but had spotty connectivity to my modema and the USB harddrives I attached to its USB port. Eventually, the router stopped recognizing the USB drives altogether. Returned it for a Netgear AX5300.

    Easy to setup and has good Wi-Fi range. It solved the issue where my old router would not give me the full gigabit throughput on comcast.
