    Amazing performance. Well worth going with this higher priced model for the added capabilities of handling multiple devices and maintaining a strong connection with high speeds.

    The absolutely most deceptive product I have ever seen. First of all, the setup is an extremely complex process. Then you find out that whether you set it up "automatically" or "manually" yourself, you are required to sign an agreement that tells you that you MUST sign up for their subscription to continue the setup. There is NOTHING in the agreement that tells you how much you pay per month. There is NOTHING on the box that says "Requires Subscription" to use. I spent hours with another tech savvy person setting this up on all our devices only to find that nothing would work without paying them monthly fees for the "service." Service? More like a protection racket -- "pay us or we'll burn your network down". I just got fiber optic and I would prefer to own and manage my own equipment. I'm returning this to Best Buy (not your fault, BB, but you should warn customers about this company's protection racket before selling it to your customers). I'll not be considering any Netgear products again or recommending them to my network of colleagues. If all the new Gigabit routers are doing this as a business practice, I want nothing to do with them. I'll be contacting my ISP and other computer dealers to see if I can actually get some equipment without having to pay monthly protection money for the privilege of connecting my modem to my router. No matter if I misunderstood. It was way too complex and wasted too much of my time trying to set up and run, when it should have been a fairly simple plug and play (like my old router which I was able to re-install simply by plugging it in and changing a few settings). I'd rename this product "Nightmare" instead of "Nighthawk".

    Nice simple app, but very slow router. I exchanged an asus gaming router for this because of the asus app but that router was much better. I would get around 400 mbs on my phone with the asus but only close to 200 on the nighthawk on the 5ghz band. Won’t ever trust netgear again.
