    This is at least the 3rd Nighthawk router we have purchased in the last year. For some reason they are not lasting very long. If Best Buy wasn't replacing them, I would not have one in my house. When they are actually working they are great.

    Crap. Nighthawk has gone downhill. The new firmware causes it to factory reset almost daily. I had the same issue with my last one so I figured it was just old (3yrs) so I got this one. Within 24hrs it reset itself 3 times. One time was within 1 hr of the last reset. And reset as in completely removed ALL SSID and PW and any security questions. Stay away. Go with Asus and be more than happy.

    Do not buy any Netgear products. They will not offer support if you have issues. Even though they said my hardware warranty was still in effect for another 6 months they refused to help with a USB 3.0 connection issue. No customer service at all. Avoid at all costs there are better companies out there.

    I purchased the armor and bitdefender with after I hook up the router, big mistake. It slowed down the router, keep dropping the Internet, and bitdefender freezes the page on some sites when using VPN. Called netgear, no help, they told me to call bitdefender so I did, the only thing they could tell me was, don’t use vpn while on those sites. No help from bitdefender, it was like no one wanted to help,

    Had the router for two days, then the wifi was dropping off. Called support and they made a change. Wifi worked for about two weeks, then started to drop off. Called support again, they made a change, worked for two days then started to drop wifi off again. Returning to the store. All hardware updates were current.

    A real pain to install. They told me after 4 days that the App is no good and not to use it. Never got the speed and customer service is terrible.

    So this was going to be a big upgrade to my old router but this gives me half of speed my old router gives me with this router i get around 105 max with my old router i was getting 400 plus mbps dont buy you will have to return not worth it

    Netgear Nighthawk not easy to install

    I got this because of all the reviews and seller ads that said it was easy to install. I've been trying to install it for 2 days now, still no luck. while my laptop and desktop recognized it, none of my other devices can find it (Alexa and printer for example), and it is slower than my last router. I'm ready to call this a $200 loss and go with a different router. Good luck, you may need it.

    Unable to connect with the internet server, customer technician was unable to connect also after two hours of attempts. Got full refund from Best Buy. Request cancellation of service warranty and refund of charges approximately $89.95

    I don't recommend this. This product messed made my Internet crash many times and also made it very slow. You couldn't use your tv and phone at the same time because one would lose Internet connection

    The router was working good, but the security it had on it, blocked my computer, will not allow my Netflix on my tv. I called the help support they helped me un block it . but next day it started again. So i took it back return it to best buy.

    It was easy to set up and now barely 24 hours into use, it is dropping my internet. Keeps giving poor signal strength. I should have kept my service provider's router...now I have to return this crap. It is really affecting my work.
