Very bad product I was very Disappointed,

Router sucks and so does Best Buy

All NETGEAR products come with 90 days of complimentary technical support, and 1 year of hardware replacement warranty. If you are beyond the 90 days of complimentary support and you need additional technical support you will be asked to purchase an extended support contract, but if the device has failed and needs to be replaced you will not be charged for the support call, since this is covered under the hardware replacement warranty.

Failed after month and bad update AVOID NETGEAR

Avoid like the Plague

Doesnt increase internet speed

Wifi in every room

I explained to the Best Buy representative that I needed a router that would reach wifi in all corners of my two story apartment and he suggested this model. Not only does it work in every room, but it works fast! Before I needed two routers for my entire apartment, now it’s just this one. Love that I can access settings and test speeds through an app as well. Overall very pleased.

Works like a dream with nighthawk app

I’m glad I don’t have to rent their equipment anymore so again at least for me, this was very beneficial. Had a hiccup because I still had spectrum router connected but once I unplugged (wait for 10seconds) , and replugged NETGEARs equipment only, The app links everything and practically set everything up on its own. Definitely download nighthawk app it’s user friendly and provides many options to include added security to protect against hackers, this truly provides next level service for internet management. When it comes to internet NETGEAR has set the standard and I refuse to have anything less from now on…

Fast and Easy set-up
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The setup process was incredibly easy with the phone app. As long as you have cellular data to download the app or maybe stop by the coffee shop to get it on your phone beforehand, or even use your old router, you'll have your new network up and running in no time. The signal has been very reliable. The connection point in my place is a little way away from my home office, so I was concerned the connection might be spotty and I would have to run a cable somehow, but I have been very pleased.

Excellent Product so far

Love the app that comes with for the phone and the options it gives. Signal has been great and seems to process everything fast. I have several devices on the wifi, most is older equipment using newly acquired wifi adapters for two computers and an internet phone. Top notch product if you ask me :)

Only thing I do not care for is the attempt to upsell a security subscription. I do not buy subscriptions to anything, thank you. :-)
