Excellent router for the price (when on sale)

It replaces an older Netgear that started crashing randomly. Now getting much better coverage in the house. I initially made the mistake of placing it inside the TV cabinet but range was terrible. Had to take it out in the open and now all my connections are superfast. Got several Amazon Echo Show, Google smart speakers, smart plugs, smart bulbs, several ROKUs and Fire Sticks. Everything working without any issues.

Definitely a great router

Upon initial set up I was having some trouble getting the speed to increase but after much trouble shooting with the customer service (which is free for a certain amount of days and/or months, and is really expensive after), which to my surprise is very knowledgeable... I was able to pull maximized data.. I also learned quite a bit about networking. When hard lined into my router I was running tests and getting between 800-900 mbps

Only problem was when I downloaded the app for installation, downloaded a "fake" app that pretends it is installing the router then stops after a few seconds and says you have a problem and gives a number to call. Of course I called the number and they wanted 200 dollars to fix the problem, reported it to google apps. found the correct app and installation went smooth.
