The proof is in the pudding. Due to a very select few devices supporting the newest technology you have to manually enable these things. OFDMA and MU-MIMO in advanced settings and wireless setup. With an AC nighthawk I was paying for 400 mbps and would get it on my iPhone 11 Pro. Brand new wifi 6 built in ps5 was topping out at 130. I was frustrated. Tried a wifi 6 router and you can see the results. Getting 320 on Ethernet. More than doubled my ps5 speed which is the hardest to improve. Any other device is no problem. PlayStation speed tests are difficult to improve. I’m blown away.

This is the money maker for internet speeds. If you want fast speed and no lag. This is what you need for best price. It even looks like an alien !!! I have spectrum, their 1000mbps package. My speed was with their equipment 3-500mbps on different devices for speed tests .. I was disappointed with spectrums equipment. It lagged and had loading times were terrible. Just picked this bad boy up and let me tell you my speed test is now 5-800mbps just off WiFi speed tests... that’s just unheard of. My gaming response is on point and there is no lag what to ever. We game on 5 devices and honestly this is the best router I have had. And I had other nighthawks ac1900 and r7000 . This is worth it for this price if you want your speeds and no delay . NEED TO GET THIS !!!

Our old wifi router suddenly quit, so needed a new one ASAP. Since we've worked from home for 15+ years, we need something reliable. Every now and then I've had to reboot this router as the 2.4Ghz light isn't lit, however 5Ghz is, in which we connect almost all our devices to.

Really impressed by this router so far. Currently owned for about 1 week. I have gb internet and consistently get 600 down and 500-600 up. Actually replaced a mesh system and provides better connectivity.

Top of the line router and easy set up, just plug it in, turn it on and set up instructions on the back are clear. Plenty of Ethernet Ports, I would highly recommend

I bought this router because it was half price in Black Friday but I was horrified to read the privacy and data policy of the company. Please see attached picture. Even company itself says that if you don’t agree with policy you should return the router. This is a consumer privacy and data protection issue and should be challenged in the court. My Linksys router allowed me to limit administrative access to router only through cabled interface but Netgear router does it have that capability and does not block ad inistrative access using WiFi. Limiting router access only thorough cabled interface limits unauthorized access using WiFi. However router does give good speed compared to my several years old Linksys router. That is why I gave 2 stars instead of 1.

Best router ever it has so many features i was shocked when it started letting me know about blocked potential smap sites my kids where tring to go on. I would recomend to anyone who wil listen

WiFi works better than ever!!!! Install was extremely easy. Just follow the step by step instructions.

I have had this router for about 10 months now. No problems or issues. It has great range! My garage is 100 feet from my house and garage and works well! (no obstructions between the house and garage and the router sits in a back window that faces the garage)

Unfortunately, this AX5200 drops connections with Tablo DVRs every 15-30 minutes, and also buffers signals into a complete drop where your Tablo can't even connect/re-connect. I've updated the firmware, done factory reset, bought another Tablo (thinking our 5 yr old one was causing the drops) but re-installing our old Netgear R6250 in place of the Netgear AX5200 eliminated the issue of dropping Tablo TV DVR from the network (and resulting bad TV experience). Pity, as this AX router delivered 700 Mbps downloads on our Xfinity 900 Mbps service vs. the old R6250 maxing out at 250 Mbps. But the AX5200 (aka RAX48) router's inability to maintain a stable connection renders it useless as a WiFi router. ALSO, the Nighthawk app recommended during setup tries to sign you up for Netgear's clunky pay-for-security service and fails to deliver the kind of flexibility you get in their conventional web interface. Very disappointed with how Netgear quality has slipped.

Huge improvement to my internet, don’t even have to be wired, wireless is the way for me, router made a huge improvement to my gameplay in modern warfare.

My internet service sucks. But since I got the new router, when I have internet service it is so much better. NETGEAR is a brand you can trust & this is powerful enough for my whole apartment.

Excellent replacement for my five year old nighthawk router. Had to do some tweaking but now my wife and lan speeds are matching my subscribed plan with my ISP.

Do not purchase this router. It’s keeps dropping connections so many times it was impossible to work remote. I now have a spectrum WiFi box that I am using and now netgear says they will not replace the router because it has a technology issue and I have to perform two downgrades.... Proof of the downgrade from netgear. Run away folks from this model.

It’s a awesome router! Super fast wifi connection.

They worst router I ever had in my entire life. I plugged it in and I have google fiber 1gbps and was getting 200 mbps right in front of the router. Walk up stairs maybe 20 feet away goes down to 60. Switched back to my old router and now get 800 in front of it and 500 up stairs. Don’t buy this is only good if your plan has 50 mbps-100 max. Bellow is pic of the routers the fast one is my old d-link ac2600(not that old)

Overall amazing performance, Love the WiFi 6, and with my 1 gig up/down fiber connection, i'm getting 500-700mbps on my phone and tablet. This router also gives me way more coverage than my previous nighthawk. It covers the entire house no problem even down the driveway. Definitely recommend. The setup was seamless with the nighthawk app.

Wow, hard to believe I've had this for two and a half years already but it has worked flawlessly for me. I've never had a weak signal throughout my house (2000 sq ft). Never had any problems connecting new devices. No problems using the app. It's relatively simple to navigate. Not much more to say, it works well!
