The reviews on the Netgear Nighthawk AX5200 were positive, which was reassuring. I have been using this product for over a month and have not have any issues. A selling feature involved the nighthawk app, which takes full advantage of these modern routers, and you will never go back. I would highly recommend it!

The only reason I would say it's a 4.8 is because it has lost connecting a handful of times over night. It just takes a quick reboot, in the morning and it will be running great again. There are a lot of electronics connected to jt in my home and I still get great download speeds. We have multiple people using video streaming services and we can all watch at the same time, with 0 issues.

Upgrade from AC1900?

Unfortunately, it didn't add enough improvement over my existing router to justify the cost of upgrading so I returned it.

Upgraded from a Netgear Nighthawk AC2400. WORTH IT

We have a large household with multiple smart devices and not a single issue with lag or slowdowns. I would highly suggest if you are still using a WIFI 5 router that you upgrade to this, its WORTH IT !!!
