I watched a YouTube video about the setup and the guy had the same problem I did trying to do the setup with the app on my phone. But logging into the router with my laptop worked well for the setup. A couple of my devices intermittently drop connections as they did with my old router. The biggest improvement with this router was the stronger signal in my house and the speed is much better than my old router.

Bought a new laptop with WiFi6 so time to replace my 5 year old Netgear. Read other reviews about difficulty setting up. Maybe it was my familiarity with the brand because it took me little time to do. Instead of the app, I used the web interface like before with Ethernet cable. It is nice getting 2Gbps+ to the router; sadly only 1Gb through fiber service. Plus it helped it was on sale when I bought it.

Best router yet for me. Easy setup and these days you need 5Ghz band. Great speed at 5Ghz.

Love this router. Bought it during Black Friday special. Signal works great throughout the house (router in basement utility room) and near the house outside. More importantly, we have about 20 devices running and no issues (prior unit started having issues past 10 devices). Love that I can "pause" the kids devices on it anytime using the free app.

I love it!! Speedy connections and multiple devices connected. It is a true time saver.

I gotta say I was a bit skeptical reading all the negative reviews of this Router on Bestbuy but after installing it and ran few tests I gotta say speeds are amazing compared to my old Nighthawk AC1750 I did the upgrade cause I change my internet plan and now I'm getting my full speeds on Lan and WiFi which I wasn't with my old Nighthawk for $150$ I don't think you can find a better router than this one

Had an old netgear router. My internet speed was not what I was supposed to be and speeds were erratic every time I checked. From slow to slower. My provider assured me everything was good on their equipment. Replaced my router with the nighthawk. Internet speeds went to the max I am paying for and have been considtant evert time I do a speed test.

Absolute huge difference on. I have Suddenlink modem/WiFi router box and saw this on sell during Black Friday so decided to get. Super easy setting it up with app. And adding it while using the current modem, my wifi on the 5 gigahertz side went from average of 150 mbps to aver 600 mbps (that’s on a service plan of 1g download plan) pondering now on switching modem to the equivalent Netgear one now!

I've only had it a week but so far so good. Easy to setup, about 15-20 minutes. Gmb&utm_medium that was just it downloading the firmware and updating. It solved a slow shot in my house that I had with my previous router. I'm loving the multiple ethernet ports. My previous router only had one. I'll update if anything changes.
