It worked for a bit but the range wasn’t that good for what it said it had. I decided to buy 2 pack router so that it can actually reach around my whole house. It’s not bad but if you have a house that’s under 2,100 square feet than get it. It’ll work fine

Great performance, with poor software. Netgear provides a mobile app for managing the router. It's nice that they offer it, but it doesn't work well, it's slow and UI and clunky. The mobile first approach comes with major downsides as well. One major issue is that setting up the mobile app requires a Netgear account and automatically configures the router for remote access. Great for convenience, but very bad for security. The remote access feature doesn't appear to offer a way to manage the related settings in the traditional web UI and you can only see that it is enabled in the mobile app. The other downside is that some features don't work in the Web UI and can only be managed through the mobile app like the built-in security software. Even though the performance is great I wouldn't purchase this again.

Absolute huge difference on. I have Suddenlink modem/WiFi router box and saw this on sell during Black Friday so decided to get. Super easy setting it up with app. And adding it while using the current modem, my wifi on the 5 gigahertz side went from average of 150 mbps to aver 600 mbps (that’s on a service plan of 1g download plan) pondering now on switching modem to the equivalent Netgear one now!

Easy setup and great signal to bedroom. Solved my streaming problem to my Sony TV.

Awesome router. Bought a high end ASUS router a year ago that already died. This one runs much cooler so I’m sure it will last longer. Uses nice solid threaded sma connectors for the antenna instead of permanently mounted using crappy plastic hinges like ASUS. Fast and reliable

Router has been working great for over a month with no concerns. Replaced an older modem/router 2-in-1. Beyond the significant improvement in speed and balanced management of multiple devices in conference calls at the same time, I appreciate the whole home coverage (~2000 sf) with no dropped WiFi and we haven't suffered dropped connections with the microwave running. Would recommend.

Awesome router super fast load times and good signal!

Im currently using it and im not that impress with this router for some reason. My ecobee which is 5 steps away is having a problem connecting to it. Some gadget that is connected is also experiencing lost of signal. My other netgear which is too far from my ecobee is showing a very strong signal compare to this one. I tried to block somr sites as well and it doesnt work. When managing the advanced setup, it started to disconnect even my computer is directly connected to it. Now, i change the channel from Auto to channel 7 and it works better. So, im still using it and still thinking to return it and get the same router that I have downstairs. I still have a number of days to return it and hopefully this thing continue ti improve otherwise it will be back to Best Buy. I will not recommend this one, coz my old one is way better than this and killing this obe when it comes to its performance.
