Easy setup, good signal
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When purchased my main concern was the setup process. Turned out to be easy especially considering I was replacing an older Netgear model. Was able to keep network name and password which made it easy and didn't have to change all my devices. Seems to work well. Signal cover the entire house, basement and 2 floors.

Great WiFi Router
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The RAX48 replaced a rental FIOS router and is amazing. We needed 2 extenders in our house before and now have coverage through out our home and the speed is amazing. We have 57 devices, yes 57 (echo dots, smart plugs, smart bulbs, laptops, tv, phones, cameras, etc.) connected to this router and there has been no issues.

Perfect for game streaming
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works great for video and game streaming. I have a PC setup as a Plex and Steam game streaming server to portable devices. I also have a PS5 that I use for game streaming to portable devices as well. This router handles it all without a hitch. Great investment for anyone looking for high speed and reliable data throughput for in-home streaming of all sorts of media.

So Far, So Good
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As soon as I turned the router on and got it all set I noticed the signal improved tremendously on my iPhone 12 Pro. And that was a big issue I was having prior to getting this router. In spite of the reviews I saw, this router has worked fine for me with no issues at all. And my internet speed has improved on all my devices. I’m completely satisfied with it.

Happy with it
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got a great deal during thanksgiving. This wifi has been doing a very good job in large home. Only issue is very rare connection drop out. It’s nagging in the middle of work but it’s far too less occurrences and the performance, speed and reach is amazing all other times to ignore this minor issue

Unreliable and disconnects
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm a web app developer by trade and does IT things regularly. This is by far the most unreliable router I have ever seen and is not even worth it as a gift (gifted to me by my girlfriend since we both need a stronger one than our verizon router while on a $150 sale). I wouldn't have asked if my older router of 5 years didn't die. The disconnects started the next day I installed the RAX48 / AX5200 router on default configuration just so I could set it up quickly and so I can test it. For the next vew days, ALL DEVICES GET DISCONNECTED every day, macbook, my gaming PC, our smart bulbs, plugs, android and apple phones, my new PS5, you name it. Additionally, even the 2.4 Ghz band would also disconnect. What's worse, certain devices would get stuck to a disconnected mode like my PC and PS5 until you either turn off the router and turn it back on or you disconnect the device and reconnect it (the devices sees that it's still connected to the access point but has no connection). So I spent a week and a half tweaking the thing and researched. Lowered the speed to 2400 Mbps / HT80, turned off the AX features, turned off beamforming, and others. The last straw that prompted me to have us return this is when it still disconnected a few days later. Remember we're paying for these features for an AX router and it only increases reliability by a bit, but is still unreliable in terms of connection. I realize the router itself blocked the connection despite having all security features turned off. The worst part of this, the device won't be able to reconnect automatically. Researched more and to my shock, a lot of reddit users complain about Netgear's recent routers from both the AC and the AX lines to have disconnection issues. Even other review sites would have a handful of disconnection issues far more common than what other brands would offer. I'm definitely staying away from Netgear's Wifi equipment.

big upgrade
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My old router died so I had to finally buy a new one. This was on sale so I took a flyer on it. It has been a huge upgrade. App is very easy to use, setup was cake, and apparently my old router was a bottleneck on my speed. Huge and noticeable increase with this one. If it lasts, I will be a happy customer.

Solid router for the price. Speeds are solid
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good unit for the price. I no longer have problems streaming to my TV from across my house. (1000 square feet) solid device. A little fiddly to set up everything but very good speeds and solid range. I get about 430mbps on my 400mbps internet over wifi so much better than the tplink I had before that would barely send 80 to my living room with the TV.

Long range is amazing
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to install using your cell phone - just scan with your camera and the app installs itself. Our house is 5300 sq ft and it reaches everywhere without issue. We upgraded from the cable company’s router and WOW a the difference is outstanding. I love that it blocks spam attempts and has an app on your phone to restart the system or view any issues.

Works great!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works great! This product is a drastic improvement over the modem + router combo unit provided by my service provider. The unit provides stable, fast internet and a wide range of service. I purchased two - one for my home and one for my parents’ home. Works flawlessly in both homes. Side note: my brother says this looks like Kylo Ren’s spaceship.

Great Router
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very Good reliable router, a bit pricey but worth it in my opinion. The speed is great and the app is fantastic. Setup pretty easy and can really get lost in the settings to really hone to your preferred network setup. Overall a truly beast router.

Great router at an amazing price!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The router increased my internet speed from 144 Mbps to 357.7 Mbps for downloads. The Nighthawk app is excellent! Setup was simple, and sharing wifi information and controlling your network is a lot easier now with the app.

Solid Router with WIFI-6
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The router has been great since we purchased it. It was easy to install and have not had any problems with it. The antennas are great as well and it provides great coverage for my small house. WIFI-6 is great but not having the mesh might be an issue for a larger house.

An excellent upgrade
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I upgraded to the Nighthawk router from an older Netgear router. It was simple to set up and has worked considerably better than the router it replaced. Plus, it was on sale for Black Friday, so that made it even more worth it. The mobile app also has some nice features and it came with a 30 day trial of their Armor security app.

Good value if on sale
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Awesome router. Way better to own my own router than use the one provided by internet provider. Much better performance, especially under heady usage. Simple easy setup, no real complaints. Bought it on sale, probably wouldn’t pay $300, but $200 was the right price for this.

Netgear AX5200
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am coming out of another Netgear wi fi router and wanted to update to a newer unit. I am glad I chose this one. The price was right, it was in stock and very easy to set up. I have had it for a little while now and all has been very good. We are running about 20 devices on it and one is a pc for gaming and all is good.

Good router, but no customer service after 90 days
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have always used Netgear products in the past. I decided to upgrade because I stream my TV now, and the old Netgear router was slowing my streaming down. I am totally impressed with the new speed I have using my computer, and the streaming for the TV is superb. I had a hard time with my wireless printer and had to get help from HP to set that up. What I'm not impressed with is Netgear only gives you 90 days of service without purchasing a package from them. So if I don't spend more money with them I get no support. Not real happy with that change. I will hope this works as consistently as my preious router from them so I won't regret this purchase.
