Excellent connectivity, and sustained connection for multiple devices, TV's, computers, phones.

Solid signal. Replaced an old router and signal reaches well into our HOA gym and clubhouse.

Had problems setting up the router manually. The latest version of the firmware had a bug the customer service at Netgear elevated the problem and within 24 hour a new version of the firmware was uploaded to my router. The router works flawlessly

I was looking for a wireless router, but they are hard to come by. I have a set of access points that I prefer to use for my wifi. This router uses antennas, so I just left them off. It would be nice if I could disable the wifi, but I haven't figured out how to do that. It was very easy to connect to the Internet, and works great. Without the antennas, it only has a range of about 30 feet, so that should make it difficult for someone to log in to that wifi.

the Netgear nighthawk AX5400 DUAL - BAND WIFI 6 ROUTER works excellent. gaming is faster and has no interruptions yes I would say buy it.

Just bought this 1 week ago and agree with others that it is a really good router. I like the double firewall for added security. The only problem is that every time I go to change a setting in the firmware (v 1.1.3.18) it freezes up after applying the change, I then have to do a reset by turning the router off then back on just to get out of the program. Other than that everything seems to work fine.

This replaces a router from the same company. My router started to show signs of failing after many years of use. Since I had good luck with a previous model I decided to get another. It’s working as expected.

I have a 10yr old Netgear router that I wanted to replace and add WIFI-6. Received the V2 version of this router and did the usual update to latest firmware. Went about changing over my smart devices on the 2.4 band and found that two devices would not connect. While on the second floor, they are no more than 25ft from the router on the first floor. Old NG had no problem with these. The 5 band was good, higher data rate than my old router; but had more lag. Seemed to do a better job when multiple TVs were streaming. For the price I could not justify keeping a router that had issues on the low band. Online reviews with test results looked pretty good, but they were all done on V1 hardware, perhaps some conners were cut. Also the setup was a real pain once the router was put onto the latest firmware. I've had netgears before and probably have an account but didn't want to register and kick off of the additional software until after testing. If you want to access your own router after updating the firmware, then unplug it from the internet. Then you are able to log in and check settings. If it is on-line it will force you into logging into a netgear account. Aweful.

Love this product. Affordable and impactful. If you’re having connection issue this router will fix that.
