Awesome. From my basement, where I installed it, to my 3rd floor attic I have full signal. My entire yard is covered as well.

Works fine, but unit does get hot and seems to restrict or slow connectivity where it needs to be manually rebooted several times in a week.

Really liked this router, but had to return. No parental controls for my family. If that's not important to you, and you want the fastest wifi (and don't need a mesh), that just works, this is amazing.

Fast is the word.It is true it give band width selective.So the connection is the best.The the problem is the source for streaming.Blame the source.

This Router has good range, but drops off line 1-3 times a day for a minute. Unfortunately, this is long enough to drop calls or zoom. Have been trying to isolate the cause.

Picked up the router at local best buy. Quick in and out. Installed it and wifi suddenly worked without any issues. Strong signals.

I bought this to replace an older Netgear router. This one was much easier to set up and handles the many wi-fi needs of my household.

By far the best router I have ever owned so far, I have a Netgear R8000 and Linksys WRT-32X also it blow's these away in almost all categories.

The range on this is amazing. I first debated whether to go mesh or this. Glad I went with this. 1 unit that covers it all.

In spite of the rave reviews this router sucks. It disconnects from my modem 5 or more times a week. Spectrum has been to my house 20 times since I bought this piece of junk. Spectrum has replaced my modem three times, they've monitored my lines several times and there is never an issue with my incoming line or my modem. Spectrum told me that netgear is having this proble at multiple locations. Spectrum has convinced me that the problem is this junk netgear rax120 router. I used best buy extended warranty to replace it 12 months ago because the original one I bought almost 2 years ago did the same thing. I've now been fighting this for 2 years. I purchased netgear's 2 year premium support warranty only to find out they suck... I am returning this to Best Buy again tomorrow with my 2 year extended warranty and plan to upgrade to the Asus or anything else but netgear... I would highly recommend this router to any one that I hate...

Router looks great and on paper would be more than enough for what I need in my house. I currently have a netgear X10 that has actually been pretty great but since I can’t leave well enough alone and I love new gadgets, I bought the AX12. I took my X10 of the wall and hung the AX12 and that’s when my first issue popped up. While the antennas do stay in place, they kind of just hang there while the router is on the wall and look like they’re about to pop out of the sockets that they’re sitting in but oh well, let’s set it up and see how it works. 20 minutes later, both my networks are renamed to what they were before and everything is restarted. All my electronics reconnected without problems. Check the signal on my security camera and it says it’s getting very poor WiFi signal and only one bar?!? What? Why? The router is in exact same spot as my other one and nothing else has changed. Reboot the security camera and check again, same issue. Ok, something is wrong. Go outside for a smoke and try reading about possible cause and while reading, my phone loses WiFi outside where it’s literally on the outside of the wall where the router is mounted on. Ok, this is silly, I’m not spending this kind of money to get worse coverage than I was with my last router. I had enough. Came back in, reversed the damage I had caused and am returning the AX12 back to the store. Not ready for prime time.

One of the best routers on the market, no down time and excellent speed. High Quality construction as well.

Trust me when I say this. It may be an overkill if you don't have any wifi6 compatible devices but when you do, WOW it is fast.

Returned the item for a Nighthawk X6 which covers more area than this item. Otherwise, this is a good router. Installation is easy.

The router out performs all other routers that I have owned. A noticeable increase in wireless speeds. Supports WiFi 6 as well!

My previous Netgear AC1900 was getting long in the tooth, so it was time to upgrade. Installation was straight forward, although the Nighthawk app is a nightmare. Upon installation, the firmware updated. The unit experienced some problems with Ethernet data transmission, so I had to call customer support. We ended up doing a factory reset, and the problem was solved. It’s been going strong since the reset, and other than the lousy Nighthawk app, I’m happy with the unit so far.

This router would not connect to my wireless cameras, netgear support was if no help, step down to me gear AX8, and have had zero problems

I downloaded games so fast now its amazing and no issues

Bought this to replace FIOS ISP router. Good router and covers large, 2 story house with WIFI. Replaced 4 access points.
