works great. good amout of range for the wifi and fast. with the speeds it offers you will be set for a long time as internet speeds increase. easy to use with lots off options like app that you can control the modem/router. netgear has always offered a great product and glad i went back to their products.

Easy to install. Almost doubled my wired speed coming from an AC1900.

I bought this router to replace my cable companies router and have been very pleased with how it has performed. My internet actually runs faster since I set it up and I have had no problems with it at all since installation.

It does it all and then sum. Very fastcable modem with stupid fast wifi. The coolest part is the phone apps and the built-in security system that blocks all kinds of website backends

At first, our home internet was incredibly slow. Now, with this new router/modem, I can finally do work, search the web, game and much more! Even with over 15 different connections on the WiFi.

The device work perfect but doesn't have voltage protection

I have owned this modem/router for a week now, and my internet has never been better. Netgear products have been clutch for many years now. I’m glad I made the switch years ago. This Nighthawk is a slam dunk. If you need more coverage it has it, if you have many devices to connect it can manage it. The strength of the signal is unmatched. Buy the CAX80, follow the setup directions and you won’t regret this purchase.

Great Modem/ wifi router combo. Replaced the $14 per month charge from internet provider. Easy Setup and maintains connection - does what it says. I have 10-14 High Speed Devices on at all times and it works well.

I couldn't use the product because, although it says it works with Spectrum, it does not. Traded it back in for a different Nighthawk model.

This has definitely sped up our connections around the house. It wasn't the simplest to setup, but not that difficult either. Looks sleek, fits in with office decor. A bit on the pricey side, but I guess you get what you pay for. Overall, happy with the purchase.

Save yourself your sanity! Is your time more valuable than a stupid router or modem? Why bother with figuring out whether it's the modem or the router causing problems? This baby does both modem and router functions in one piece of equipment! Spectrum apparently requires a call-in to activate the modem - which can be a dreadful thought, but call at grave shift hours and you should have a rep in no time. Physically opening the box, making the connections - about five minutes. Getting a hold of a Spectrum rep - about five minutes (apparent non-peak time of 11 p.m.). Up and running, while on the two minute call. Playing with and making the settings for guest use, about 20 minutes. Fussing with a third-party wifi extender, about 15 minutes. This router with cable modem is a beast. It took a major internet/cable providers download speeds from an average of 280 mbs and turbo charged them to an average of 990 mbs or more. Turn your internet service into a monster with the all in one, ultra sleek and quiet device. This household has at times 12 or more connected devices and we don't suffer any loss in download nor upload speeds. [Upload though is 23 to 27 tbs]. Netgear leads the way when it comes to home internet. ln my opinion, the value you get from owning your own networking gear compared to your ISO provided and rented equipment is unmatched. Here you can set your security that you desire, configure and test which channels best work in your areas as well as set your desired preferences. Especially as a gamer and wanting your hardwired machines to get the best quality of service with the ability to set those QoS preferences. I have yet to have a problem with this combo. I haven’t even had to restart it. Set and forget.

This thing has been chugging along great now for a few months since I bought it. I went through several other modems prior to this one and they all died short lives. So far this one has lasted longer and it is way faster than the others.

I’m happy that I purchased this product. This modem is super fast, download takes only a second and streaming has no issue with HD and supports 4K streaming as well. I have a home theater with 4K and I have no problem encountered. Streaming and downloading is very fast and smooth. Easy set up.
