This router has worked perfectly so far, and I have no complaints.

Speedy fast modem with easy setup. I completed set up in about 15 minutes. I have been using the new modem for just over a week and am impressed with its power. One tip: if you are upgrading equipment, download the Netgear app before shutting down your existing modem.

What a big improvement over my last wireless modem that finally gave up. My neighbor uses my signal (I let them) and they get 5 bars of signal strength . I was able to get rid of a problematic extender because it was no longer needed. It has made all my devices faster to use. Very happy with it's performance.

Decided to stop renting equipment from the cable company, settled on this modem/router and couldn't be happier. The speed is great all over and outside my 2000 sq ft house, using apps to watch my Xfinity cable so no more wires or boxes. Runs like a champ, haven't lost signal a single time since it's been in.

works great. good amout of range for the wifi and fast. with the speeds it offers you will be set for a long time as internet speeds increase. easy to use with lots off options like app that you can control the modem/router. netgear has always offered a great product and glad i went back to their products.

I bought this router to replace my cable companies router and have been very pleased with how it has performed. My internet actually runs faster since I set it up and I have had no problems with it at all since installation.

My ISP (WOW) was giving me issues, even after upgrading my internet speed package, still was slow with buffering and drop issues. Researched and swapped out their equipment for this modem/router combo and my service has been better. I would recommend so far.

Easy set up...kind of. They want you to use the app but it was glitchy. If you know anything about routers it's not that hard. It is fast but the range is not near as good as I'd hoped for. I have a 2500 sqft home and the router is in the garage. It may be interference from building material, however, my nighthawk, X4S covered the whole house.

This router with cable modem is a beast. It took a major internet/cable providers download speeds from an average of 280 mbs and turbo charged them to an average of 990 mbs or more. Turn your internet service into a monster with the all in one, ultra sleek and quiet device. This household has at times 12 or more connected devices and we don't suffer any loss in download nor upload speeds. [Upload though is 23 to 27 tbs]. With true gig speed service or business class this wi-fi 6 router is going to really kick some ...

This cable modem almost installed itself. A total breeze and pleasure. All I had to do was set up the wifi and passwords to ones that I had on my previous modem (that, rest its soul, met an untimely death due to a lightning strike) and all of my accessories worked beautifully . I did need to make a phone call to our cable provider to supply the MAC, but that was fast and painless. I probably could have gone with a lesser capacity device, but I strongly believe in overkill.

I have owned this modem/router for a week now, and my internet has never been better. Netgear products have been clutch for many years now. I’m glad I made the switch years ago. This Nighthawk is a slam dunk. If you need more coverage it has it, if you have many devices to connect it can manage it. The strength of the signal is unmatched. Buy the CAX80, follow the setup directions and you won’t regret this purchase.

Great Modem/ wifi router combo. Replaced the $14 per month charge from internet provider. Easy Setup and maintains connection - does what it says. I have 10-14 High Speed Devices on at all times and it works well.

Fast and easy setup. The range is great! We can now be out by the pool and get reception. Not too noisy or bright.

Awesome router, over 20 devices running flawless highly recommend

This has definitely sped up our connections around the house. It wasn't the simplest to setup, but not that difficult either. Looks sleek, fits in with office decor. A bit on the pricey side, but I guess you get what you pay for. Overall, happy with the purchase.

Easy connectivity for all our devices, reasonable speeds with our Xfinity. Range was okay in our 3300 SF house, and to our WIFI outdoor lawn sprinkler controller. Longevity was as expected, I guess - became completely unresponsive 3 months after the warranty expired. Although it was relatively trouble free, going with Motorola this time with a 2 year warranty.

Easy to install, app is easy to work with. Had to call support and they were great. Happy with the product

Save yourself your sanity! Is your time more valuable than a stupid router or modem? Why bother with figuring out whether it's the modem or the router causing problems? This baby does both modem and router functions in one piece of equipment! Spectrum apparently requires a call-in to activate the modem - which can be a dreadful thought, but call at grave shift hours and you should have a rep in no time. Physically opening the box, making the connections - about five minutes. Getting a hold of a Spectrum rep - about five minutes (apparent non-peak time of 11 p.m.). Up and running, while on the two minute call. Playing with and making the settings for guest use, about 20 minutes. Fussing with a third-party wifi extender, about 15 minutes. This thing has been chugging along great now for a few months since I bought it. I went through several other modems prior to this one and they all died short lives. So far this one has lasted longer and it is way faster than the others.

Finally found out how to make internet faster! This router works great.. better than charter or wow router 100 percent
