Great product and fast speeds. Drops connection very frequently but not sure if its product related or internet provider. Had no issues with their setup just wanted faster.

Greatest purchase I've ever made. The speed and reliability is beyond incredible.

This product simplified my setup by combining the Cable modem and router into one unit. I have noticed an increase in connection quality and reliability over my old equipment. My only suggestion is to use a PC and web browser to log into the router during setup rather than their mobile app as changing certain settings will disable Wi-Fi temporarily, causing the app to lose connection, which can be a little frustrating. 9/10

I bought this for my neighbors daughter who just graduated high school and going to college in another state. I wanted her to begin to really appreciate and value her privacy and how being hacked or violated in any way was not good and to be reported. However with this device I doubt if any digital perps get near any of her information or assets.

Buyer beware! Like many others have mentioned, my $400+ device is now the world's most useless paper weight. Before it "bricked", it was actually a great cable/router modem. Good signal, fast speed and relatively easy to setup. However, when your cable provider pushes updates, it may result in your router "bricking" and being entirely non-functional. This is a known issue with this product and Netgear will provide you zero support or assistance. This device is a ticking time bomb. Run, don't walk, towards another product and brand.

Great product so far no issues with it. Easily handles 1200mbps. App is also very useful. A bit tedious to first set up but well worth it.

Purchased because my arris modem kept dropping and disconnecting xfinity wifi. This modem has the speed and compatibility for xfinity and has caused no problems since insralled.

Very good upgrade. Installation took a little longer than expected, nighthawk app is worth downloading on your phone. Now I am ready for speed increase in the future.

I've been netgear fan & customer for a long time, love how modem/routers are well design, let's not forget how customizable are the settings for these products, USB 3.0 slot for additional storage. The only downside is that the app lately encounters more challenges to set up; advise start with web, one is done, the app will run smoothly. Customer service and technical support are top notch caring and helping with any flaws. Keep the good work.

Perfect performance. Simple installing. Quick setup from my iPhone with Nighthawk app. Great product. I recommend 100%. Honestly, my experience has been amazing.

System is great, slight difficulty in setting up the system especially if it’s being used by a less tech savvy person.

I already had another NetGear RAX80 & ASUS GTX 11000. When purchasing this newest CAX80 to replace my current modem/router combo of Xfinity, I was very exited knowing it will give me a future proof of internet of the next several years. While the performance is unreal, I gave 3 stars for the following reason: 1), This is an know issue. It does not save the configuration when I change the name on the Port Forwarding section for my devices. 2). The IP list is not in numeric order when editing services (sort option does not exist), 3). Another known issue is unable to add additional devices to Port Forwarding. To make such a big advertise on this great product and not vested thoroughly on those aspects is a let down form the engineering point of view. Through research, it might be solvable for resetting the device. For that much money and all wonderful things written about it, it's a bit of disappointment. I am thinking of returning it even I truly love the performance.

I used to have the Cox Panoramic modem and this is faster without changing the plan. The best part is the range is a lot better too. Definitely recommend!

Strong signal in both 5gz and 2.4ghz. Is capable of handing gigabit speeds as advertised. Haven’t had an issue since I bought it 7 months ago.

Easy to install. Works way better than my older router. The range is perfect.

Been using for about 3 weeks. No problem setting up and fully compatible with XFinity service. Good coverage throughout large multistory house. Have a TCP/IP printer hooked up directly to box, which performs fine.

This thing is phenomenal. Speeds up to 10GBps. By far the best modem for gaming Ive ever owned. Setting it up you must download the nighthawk app. Install the app and follow the steps to get the wifi working. Without doing so, you can only use a hardwire connection even after activating it with your service provider. All you will ever need is right in the app. 10/10 would buy again or recommend to a friend.
