Excellent Gateway
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent product for an excellent price. Gateway so you get your modem and router all in one. Great Wi-Fi coverage and excellent security. A little costly … but worth every single penny. Was able to purchase and pay over 6 months with Best Buy card which helped a lot with budgeting for this item.

Best combo modem/router
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As far as Modem/Router go, this is the best combo you can get. I have 4 tv, 4 gaming consoles, light bulbs, camera, ring doorbells, and a lot more. I think maybe 30 devices are connected to my network and I don’t have any speed issues, and still able to stream 4k movies without buffing, no game lag or connection issues. Worth the buy….

Awesome!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had to upgrade my modem because my previous connection would drop some of my devices at home and I’d lose connection. I’m so glad I purchased this. Fast wifi for my Xfinity 1TB unlimited. You get the newest wifi 6. I haven’t had any disconnection of my devices. Also the perks of having armor security on the nightgear app is great! I really recommend this modem router! It is pricey but you get what you’ve paid for.

A little hard to setup, but works well
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We tried to install this following the directions in the Nighthawk app, which required going to the Xfinity app. That didn't work. What did work was calling Xfinity and having them activate it, and then finishing the setup in the app. That being said, the modem works great. I'm finding that it actually gives me those super fast downloads with my data plan that the Xfinity modem wouldn't give.

Great product! Very expensive....
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This product was so easy to get up and running, there are step by step instructions on the app as you plug the unit in. Also, at first the unit did reboot a few times. Within the first two weeks or so. Have had this for a month with no further issues. I am beside myself on the price...

As excellent as it looks
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the most amazing router that I could find. However it is really pricey. Also comes with 6 months (at the time) of Bit Defender Armor security software. Extra cost after the trial period, but necessary for your protection. That extra cost also allows you to protect additional technology that you own. Hands down the best security software that I've ever purchased. Before buying the router, I'd been using the software alone on my laptop for three years.

Been working well for me, happy with the purchase!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worked Great and covers more of my house than my last one. Streaming from Four TVs Couple of Kids Gaming Everyone's Cells and working from home. No Hiccups or issues, performs well. Note, After getting Activated, make sure you verify with provider again that it is registered. Though mine said completed successfully and activated, had some issues and found they didn't change it in the ISP Portal. Was fine after that. Not a Modem issue, just provider process issue.

Big Bang For Your Buck
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This works significantly better than the standard Cox Modem provided. I have heavy internet traffic on my devices as almost everything is connected to the wifi here at home. I play on 2 PC’s and VR and have not had any issues whatsoever. It is an expensive thing to purchase but well worth it!

NETGEAR modum/router.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent fast router. My only issue is sometimes the Wi-Fi signal drops for a second or two. Not sure if that’s a Comcast or a NETGEAR issue. All of my devices are now extremely fast.

Runs like a champ
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I replaced and older C7000 that failed that was about 5 years old. I got about 20% faster speed on the wired connection and 3 to 4 times faster with the wireless connection about 30 feet away with a few walls in between. Keep the same network names and passwords for the WiFi and you don't have to setup any devices again. I'm running at ~300 Mbps on Comcast/Xfinity with about 30 devices connected at a time, with only 3 to 4 of those taking lots of data from streaming.

Not worth the price tag and the performance
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had this modem/router for about seven months, and it was a nightmare. The unit frequently dropped connections, and I couldn't upload on the 5 GHz Wi-Fi frequency. Also, the voice quality on Zoom and Skype was choppy. I looked online at the forums and found that this unit is known to have a plethora of issues. This router even had me troubleshooting my 5G LAN port on my motherboard as it would constantly drop the connection. I thought it became defective and i purchased USB to 2.5Gb adapter. I finally gave up and returned the device. I then started using the modem/router that Comcast rents. As soon as I did that, I noticed that my connections were more stable, my upload speeds increased, and my uploads were successful. Also, it turns out the LAN port on my mobo is not defective; it was the router disconnecting it. I should have done this a lot sooner!

Upgrade
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.10 years with older modem and router, 3 kids using 5 people using it at the same time. Was a well overdue upgrade and combo deal . Totally worth the money to have both in one and handle my household.

Can control the connected devices using Smart App
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works well, I like the feature to control the devices (block/unblock) using the Nighthawk application on smart phone. I don't need to restart my router frequently as I used to do with my previous router due to connectivity issues. I would say it is priced little high.

Nighthawk
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the best modem router combo I’ve ever purchased. It was by far the easiest to set up. I would definitely recommend this model to anyone who has the need for a modem router combo. The nighthawk app is also very easy to navigate and makes it easy to set up.

Already defective, flaky from the start
|Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The 2.5G ethernet port is already beginning to fail after only 7 months. The internet connection/modem has always been unstable, but no outright failures. The Wi-Fi connectivity works fine with no issues. The router admin page/UI leaves a lot to be desired. The controls and settings are poorly organized and network management capabilities are lacking. Way too expensive for these issues.
