Is performing well, had security cameras that would not connect with cox provided equipment. Installed this unit and all has been fine no issues

Easy to connect and excellent range of wifi coverage.

Sadly, it didn’t work with my isp for whatever reason. Between my isp and netgear support I was on the phone trying to fix the problem for over 4 hours. Netgear is great and the product is probably awesome. I really hate it didn’t work because I was really wanting it.

pgraded to the newest Nighthawk CAX80 and what a difference! This thing smoked the old Nighthawk. DL speeds increased 20%, upload 10%. Absolutely love it. If you have the old Nighthawk app delete it and install the new / updated app BEFORE you try to setup. It will save you time and anguish.

The best you can buy unfortunately my internet service provider cannot handle the speeds it is capable!

This is a solid product, with speedy performance. I had a weird problem that I wasn't sure if it was from the Nighthawk or not, and their Tech Support was very helpful and stayed engaged until I figured it out. (It wasn't the Nighthawk)

I have a gigabyte+ plan with Xfinity. After installation and activation, noticed that the speed really hadn't increased much if at all. First night had hard disconnect and self reset which took almost 30 minutes to get back up and running. A couple of days things seemed fine, but as mentioned speed didn't seem any faster than my old docsys 3.0 Today my wife had an important Zoom meeting doing interviews and the connection was super laggy, much worse than the older router modem. Did some support search read tons of people having issues. Did a speed test on the router using comcast online speed test - never got speeds higher than 420 mbps. Installed my old router modem which got 380 mbps. Coudn't find any solution to improve connectivity and also no live chat support to netgear - the support phone number was constantly busy. After spending close to $ 500 (inclding tax) I was super disgusted. I wished companies didn't use consumers as test pigs and have no problem taking their money. Super poor product for way too much money and ZERO real support. Fix your stuff and then sell it for a justifiable price. I had been looking so forward to getting a faster internet connection with this. THIS IS A JOKE NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

This is a beast of a router, although i give 4 stars due to some deficiencies which I cannot prove falls on router or on internet service provider. The issue i do have is very very seldom. The wired connection loses service and my internet goes out on PC while gaming, although the wireless connection still works, this is why i am mentioning I am unsure of which to blame service or router. It sounds like router to me but I cannot be for sure.

Bit Janky to setup. Not as customizable when it comes to firewall settings as I thought I would have. They pretty much lock everything behind the app. Which does not work well tbh. Other than that. It does provide high speeds and I am able to get the full 500MB Out of my ISP that I pay for, for all of my devices.

Rock solid switch from Netgear CM1200.. needed speed above 1Gbps and got it with this! plugged into my 2.5LAN port on my PC, speeds are at 1400 down as they should be! great product. also was able to get rid of the external router i was using and the wifi on this is superb. worth the $.

Great speed with RCN 1 gig internet. Easy hook up through wifi. Our yard is 300' deep and we have a strong wifi connection at the far end as well as throughout the house. We have 12 devices running on the wifi at any given time with no issues.

After some difficulty setting it up, this thing screams in my wifi polluted neighborhood. I have seen drastic improvement in all of my connections, which consist of at least 5o devices. Had a leased Router/Modem from the X people and after finally figuring out how to deregister it, (couldn't find any links on the X site to chat with a human and the 'Bot kept re-routing me to how great their sorry POC modem was) I ran into issues with the mandatory Admin password change. HINT: Don't try to do this on Chrome. After an hour or two of doing the same thing over and over (which is the definition of crazy, I know) and thinking I was somehow not satisfying the Password Illuminati with each successive change that I would never remember, from somewhere in the depths of my memory I remembered seeing someone had issues with trying it on chrome, so I switched over to Edge... which I never use, btw... and it was magically completed. I'm still not certain I have it running at 100%, but it is working very well and performance is fantastic.

It is a high quality modem/router in most aspects, it will have better wifi/range range than most modem/routers out there and a little bit more than cheap dedicated routers. IT IS PRICEY so I reccomend this for enthusiast and people that will pay for gigabit internet plans

I have to say,I am impress with the Nighthawk,It's very fast and beats any cable modem wifi router that's out there,I have no complaints and i am a happy customer,For buying the Nighthawk,It's my second cable modem wifi router.I love how fast it and the speed.
