Works great, the best on the market we tried other ones, but this one seem to have the better range and quick upload download

I bought this box to replace the standard Mediacom box and it is outstanding. Download speeds made a big jump up and the connection never has any stutter or random dropping.

Had to work with Netgear and my provider to get it working, but they were both very helpful. Netgear even called Bev a couple days later to make sure it was working.

I am very happy with the product. The price was higher than expected. Still worth every penny. Technical support service was awesome. I had to reboot and restore the system. I was able to reinstall with the helpful Technical support on the phone.

Best upgrade from our out of date nighthawk router. We needed to get away from the router our internet company provided and finally get over 1g speed!

So far so good. The initial setup was a pain but i feel it's worth the investment so far. I have quite a bit of networked devices along with working hybrid(IT) so this fit what i needed.

The CAX80 is a very versatile product and above average when you customize it in the UI. BUT, it wasn't long before I would have connectivity issues (NOT AN ISSUE WITH SIGNAL STRENGTH), I would get the Netgear configuration page after it was already configured. Typically, after a power failure. Some of your settings do NOT retain. I can't factory reset the device via the UI or the push button. At the end of the day, netgears terrible support for the item (3 months free support, of course no issues in those first 3 months) and garbage firmware in the long run is a HUGE headache. Would this effect the average user? Maybe. If Netgear fixes the garbage firmware, it's a must buy. But other than that, it's a very expensive (and fancy) looking brick.

Definitely faster but I encountered an issue using the smart bandwidth option. Best to designate them yourself or you could get booted off WiFi repeatedly.

Fast but range in a old home not the best. I even have an ax1600 extender for camera's in the front of my house and my bedroom device. The connection to them are spotty at best.

Works awesome! Currently have almost 20 devices connected to it daily and no disconnects or issues. 25% transmit power on 5ghz still has great coverage. Make sure to play around with transmit power as 100% is usually not needed.

Setup instructions did not correspond with what actually happen. In the beginning the unit was dropping WiFi constantly. Reviewing YouTube videos, I resolve the problem by changing the internal channels. So far the unit has dropped WiFi once since I made the changes. Also, I noticed an increase in internet speed.
