The Netgear CAX80 Combo router/wifi router is super simple to install and delivers a solid, fast internet connection. It's so much better than my old router. It was a worthwhile purchase. Thanks Netgear!

I am replacing old NetGear with this one for xfinity service. It works great and setup MOCA with this router is easy ( you will need MOCA Adapter to do the setup). The speed is amazing also and do not need extender for 3,800 sq ft 3 floor house. Thank You !!!

I had gotten this after i tried using a Motorola model. The Motorola model kept dropping signal and not working properly so I might have gotten a dud. I decided to just dish out an extra $70 or so and got this model. I’m getting 2x speeds and finally my internet is not dropping and I’m not bottlenecked for my speeds!

This is a fantastic router modem combo, it has both 2.4 and 5G settings. It’s easy to login to it and easy to configure, which I would always suggest doing. It has setting to set speed priorities for steaming and gaming. Good by for anyone that wants a device able to work 10 plus devices at a time, with good internet speeds this device is capable and can handle the work load.

My internet has been spotty for over a year using Breezeline’s modem along with their extender. Switching to the Netgear Nighthawk has been the best decision I’ve made! I’m able to stream throughout my townhouse without any hiccups! It’s worth every penny!

Great Combo Unit for Spectrum Customers

Super simple setup for Spectrum customers. It absolutely blows their supplied hardware out of the water which isn't an easy task as on the gigabit plan they work pretty well. I mostly was looking for a minimalist solution but device surprised me with much better upload and lower operating temperatures under heavy constant load.
My only complaint is the AC power brick is quite large and the way it plugs in blocks a few ports on my battery backup. I won't knock a star for that as it seems to be a thing with most all of these units regardless of SKU or vendor. All in all I ended up with only one invasive plug in as opposed to the two I was getting from my supplied Spectrum Modem and Router.
I also do not recommend the armor software in the app. It is incredibly aggressive and told me that my LG C2 has almost 200 vulnerabilities which I found hilarious. Even if that is true there is nothing I can do about that. I suppose if you like to know every gap you have it is a useful tool. To be clear it didn't impede any traffic or use of any device properly just the app reports a ton and I would deem it "fearware". Just set your security good and enjoy surfing, streaming and downloading at insane speeds. Also Wifi6 soon!!!

The NETGEAR Nighthawk AX6000 is an exceptional router, delivering impressive reliability and strong connectivity, even with older Wi-Fi devices. It handles multiple connections effortlessly and ensures stable performance throughout the house. While it’s on the pricier side, it’s definitely worth the investment—especially if you can snag it on sale. If you’re looking for a high-quality router that future-proofs your network and offers seamless connectivity, this is a solid choice.

The first one I purchased had an issue where it would randomly rebot. I took it back and had it replaced and the new one is awesome. It’s not cheap but if you want wifi 6 and and great coverage its hard to beat.

Best home/office modem/rou; combo /NOT for gaming

This is a great modem/router combo for people who have lot of devices at your home. Its technology is solid and you will feel blazing speeds on no interruption on any of your devices.
This is a 5 star modem and is a future-proof modem for future internet bandwidth as well once Gigabit becomes the norm.
The only 1 star i am taking off is because this modem does not have QOS setting like previous netgear modems and the blufferbloat is really high in games. The blufferbloat is really high when multiple devices are in use and i was not able to fix it working with Netgear support (who were excellent staff) and did their very best to assist me to solve the issue.
Therefore, if you are a gamer you may need an additional router with good anti-blufferbloat settings but for home and office use this is the best modem i have used and Netgear has excelled with this product. I only wished it had some of the features for QOS and other customization.

Good performance however this was not the easiest modem to hook up but I guess thats the case having to deal with your provider and software of the nighthawk. The range seemed to be improved over my old wi-fi modem system and theres no rental fee from the provider.

I have owned Netgear products for a long time, and as my previous Netgear cable modem/router started to reach the end of life I decided to upgrade to this model. I have to admit, the sticker price almost scared me away, after pulling the trigger I am glad that I purchased it. I have Spectrum service and have been getting intermittent outages with the service, which Spectrum blamed on the previous router. I now get much higher speeds, almost to 300M, and when there was an issue recently I was able to get Spectrum to agree that the issue was most likely on their side. This modem has also enabled me to upgrade to gigabit service when it is in my area. Overall this is a good product, the only reasons I did not rate it a five star was 1) it has lost its settings a couple of times after I have rebooted it and I have had to set up the access points all over again, and 2), Netgear pushes you to use their Nighthawk app over the web interface which I find is more informative and flexible than the app. Other than that I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to upgrade their cable modem router,

This is a very fast modem. Very easy to install. I added Cat 8 cables as well. From the modem to the computer (via Cat 8): 900 Mbps. On a new HP laptop (I7, AX, wireless) 1.2 Gbps (sometimes). We did not believe that.
Buy the extended warranty from both Netgear and BestBuy. Netgear doesn't support after three months without the warranty. (This is the only negative feature about the modem.) I wish Netgear would extend the free support to 2 years.

Everything is great- high speed, great range.
The only down side is that modem keeps restarting itself when it lost to internet connection. The auto-restart modem on internet connection lost wasn't good because I would still use my local network without internet.

The Netgear Nighawk AX6000 WI-Fi 6 Router works great and is compatible with Comcast Xfinity. The setup was extremely easy and I was online in 10 minutes. It has great range and in fact it has better range than what I was experiencing with the Comcast Gateway. I am very happy with it so far.

Even though my pocketbook said this was to high for me, I took a gamble because of other netgear products i purchased and how well they performed along with the longevity, plus this unit is a cable modem router all in 1 unit. 2 1/2 years later i still have no complaints and glad I took the gamble. It still is capable of more than its used for in my home, but that is because isp's in my area are still slow at catching up..nighthawk app makes setups smooth sailing too

Best gateway on the market

I have no idea why there are any negative reviews, this is the most superior gateway I have ever used and I have been upgrading every 2 years because I always to have the latest and greatest and for once I feel like I will not be upgrading in 2 years and this one is here to stay longer. The amount of features and the range this provides in a all in one unit makes this the most appealing gateway on the market. This is what I was hoping for and never once thought it should valued for any less than retail. This is worth every penny if you are looking in particular a great all in one one unit.
