Easy setup with app, good coverage, fast speeds, sleek design. Upgraded from a previous nighthawk router but with my NAS and smart home hub setup needed more Ethernet ports.

Very fast speeds! Setting up device can be a little tricky, was for me at least due to spectrum provider. Very stable network connection and can handle multiple devices at once. Smart home, gaming, business, school devices connect with ease. Nighthawk app helps you manage and view everything with your router. Very good product no complaints!

I had an old old old Apple Airport Extreme router that went out of support several years ago. I upgraded my wifi service from 350mb to 1 GB and bought this router to support the added speed. Another concern of mine was security, so I was happy to see that this router provided some additional security measures and provided security software as well. Compared to my old Apple router, this router provided a bigger speed boost (although that should be mostly attributed to the wifi service upgrade - but then again the Apple router only supported up to 300 mbps) and was reaching into corners that didn't use to get wifi coverage in the past. I also liked how I was able to set up guest wifi networks and IOT networks with separate passwords given how I didn't trust some of those cheap IOT devices. The network setup app came in two varieties, one is a simple to use phone app, and there's the more advanced browser based tool that I liked using because it provided much more granularity on what I can configure. The security software came as a trial ware. It seems useful but I haven't made up my mind on whether or not to actually pay for it. The software scans the various network devices and tells me that they are normal, but I'm not sure how deep the analysis is. Let's see how it goes.

A great update! This really increased coverage in my house and speeds are fantastic! It really helped with security system coverage. Easy to set up using the NetGear app on the phone. It to about 10-20 minutes but all worked in no time.

Works really great most of the time. Strong signal and good speed. Occasionally, we have one FireStick and one tablet that will lose connectivity and refuse to connect until they reboot. Did not have this issue with previous router.

This is an amazing product. My house has many turns and walls. Before getting this I had satelles in almost every wall outlet. Now I have just the one connected to my router and two satellites. Wow what a difference!!!! I can now get Netflix and amazon Prime with no problems. It is expensive but well worth the money, and no I am not getting pald to write this or receiving any compensation, as far as I know.

I returned a brand new router from a competitor and purchased the Netgear RS500 Wi Fi 7. The speed and flexibility is great. You can actually understand their Customer Support who are so much more knowledgeable than their competitor. I also am able to manage this router from my Desktop computer. Very happy to have purchased this one.

So far working very well. Easy to set up no issues with devices slowing down or being dropped.

This router has improved my connection in my house drastically. I am getting faster speeds and farther coverage than my old nighthawk I had before that was still WiFi 5. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who games or likes to stream 4k or even 8k content.

Just what i needed, stop wasting your money and get something that has no problems getting the job done fast and great. These days we have many devices on our wifi slowing down internet, this will help, keep your devices on a strong wifi. You pay for what you get. Love it.

This router is very powerful and sends a broad signal across the entire house! Before I would struggle in 2 far rooms of the house ! Now even the furthest point of the house gets near full internet speed ! The setup got me a little bit but called Netgear customer support and they walked me through the entire setup ! Would definitely recommend!

Recently upgraded to WiFi 7 with the help of a Nighthawk RS500 and couldn't be happier! Much improved ping, download, and upload speeds compared to my old AX5400, plus the range is a bit better. My network should be solid for another 3-5 years!

I purchased this as a replacement for a much older Nighthawk router that I had. The new RS500 has far exceeded my expectations. I have full coverage of my entire home from the basement to the entire main floor. There is no loss of signal anywhere in the house. I would strongly recommend it to anyone needing to upgrade their WIFI router.

The nighthawk router truly is amazing is it such a great router and it shows to show that cheap doesn’t mean better always go for the more expensive ones and look for quality and when it comes to gaming get the ASUS ROG router

Title: Works Well Description: Easy to install, and works well for now. I'm just irritated that in less than 72 hours after installation, it stopped the WiFi signal, so I had to call tech support. It was hard to find the number, and there was a wait. The tech guided me through a power cycle, told me "that happens sometimes," and assured me that now that I've done one, there shouldn't be a need to do one again, but I don't trust that just yet. Why can't new tech just work from the get go OR they should add the power cycle in the setup instructions to prevent the issues I encountered as a fully remote worker.

It took 3 calls to get it set up, but works well once set up.
