Easy to setup.
The range is 100% better than the AT&T unit.
Great speed!
Good buy!

I would have given it 5 stars but for the set up and a few other blips.
The set up with the nighthawk app is not good.
Maybe they have fixed it?
But probably just do a manual set up.
If you are willing to set up a network you know enough to make this chore simple.
Problem is that on the initial set up the username and password Fields are greyed out.
If you click on the username field it stays greyed out.
If you click on the password word field to the direct right of the username field it will let you change the password word but it is unintuitive to click the password field after seeing the username field is unaccessible due to being greyed out...
After the password is set the rest is super simple if you have ever set up a router before and still super simple and easy to figure out if have are new to the experience.
Nighthawk app is spam and just a annoying life lock like business strategy as far as I can see.
Also for the duration of the free trial of Netgear armour I had an issue with losing internet for like 30 seconds during a point in the nine o'clock hours.
Both am and pm.
It was odd.
I suspect it was Netgear armor connecting to a server and sharing it's findings...
After the trial expired the internet loss seemed to go away.
But I did change a minor setting in the router around that time as well so it could have been that?
Probably the the netgear armour thing though...
Good router though.
Handles streaming games to twitch at 1080p just fine.
Also handles multiple high resolution devices all at the same time just fine.
I would recommend.
Just don't use Netgear armour and don't use nighthawk app.
I give them negative 5 stars...
The hardware is solid so far.

Title: Smooth Sailing
Description: So far, so great!
I have had zero problems with my new Netgear Nighthawk BE6500, it delivers Wi-Fi to all parts of my house, and I have no connectivity issues. I am using gigabit-speed internet, and it supplies this service to my devices effectively. I am likely to buy NETGEAR products again in the future.

Easy setup and works well with Xfinity. The best thing was giving the gateway back to Xfinity and the dark cloud is gone. Should have done it years ago.

I originally tried a different router, (TP Link) but after multiple attempts I found that it was incompatible with Verizon Fios and also had poor IPv6 support. However I’ve had no issues with the Netgear BE6500, rock solid speed and very easy setup.

Description: The ease of setting this up with our already existing Neatgear, Nighthawk app was so simple and quick! The speed has increased and haven't noticed a lag or delay at all.

Easy install. All devices connected to WiFi easily. Looks like the basic Armor will work for me. I am terribly dissatisfied that the price when down $20 shortly after I purchased it!

I bought this because my Spectrum cable-supplied app couldnt broadcast a unique 2.4 GHz signal, and all the new stuff I was buying - from a bathroom scale to a washer-dryer - required 2.4. (I laugh when I read posts that 2.4 GHz is only used on "older devices.) This item is reliable and fairly easy to set up - kudos to the Netgear staff who helped me troubleshoot and connect every device in my house. You get I think one month of free phone support with purchase, and theyre very easy to get hold of and very patient. Router has great coverage in my 2700 sq ft 1-story hours

Setup was really easy through the companion app. Works well with all my connected devices and the app offers a lot of flexibility on customizing my connection.

Great router for gaming needed an upgrade from my old router. This one has a lot of features and functionality from the app. However there is a pay wall for quite a few features and this could be a negative to quite a few im sure. I personally use their service which comes with vpn and full feature functionality with internet security. But it will do what its supposed to without the subscription features and works extremely well if you have fast internet.

This new router's awesome! My old Asus was dropping signal constantly, making working from home a pain. Traded it in at Best Buy using my warranty – so glad I did! It's super fast and reliable, exactly what I needed.
