Doesn't extend as far as I thought. But overall works pretty well.

Wifi extender wall plug in. I had purchased a different plug in extender and was getting slow download speed downstairs I returned it and got this wifi extender and let me tell you on 5ghz I get same speed as i do in front of router upstairs. Very happy with purchase thanks Netgear

When I first installed the extender I had problems. Every day I had to bring the unit back close to the Nighthawk router and re-sink it. I finally called Netgear and was told to reset my router, after that , no problems. I wish the instructions included " reset your router "

Replaced a cheap range extender with this X4S mesh extender. It was supposed to cover around 1500 Sq Ft. My small ranch home is about that size. I had to be 20-30 from my router to get a hard signal and it didn't even reach my back bedroom with a strong signal, much less my attached garage becks up to this bedroom and signal was not strong enough to keep my GD opener app connected. This might be OK for a small apartment but not me. Returned it for the X6S that covers about 1000 SqFt more, so far it's not bad. You figure it's 2500 Sq Ft from the unit not 2500 Ft in each direction. It also has a fixed plug, if your outlets are not up & down it won't sit up correctly. Was going to buy the AC1900 but the salesman talked me out of it, maybe because it cost more.

I needed this to get wifi to a video doorbell. It was easy to get it to register the wifi network and then placement in our garage which is down the stairs and at least 100 feet from the router gave good reception. Have had it for 1 week and it works well. No complaints.

Better response time with all of my wifi devices. yes!

If you're looking for a Mesh wifi router addition to your existing network, this isn't it. This device works OK if you simply want an extender, but it does not work with your network to make it a true Mesh (same network name in the extended area).

I was a bit skeptical that this unit would work because it did not have a direction antenna but Tommy surprise it worked great! I was able to get a signal over 85ft from my house. I highly recommend for interior use!

I bought this but didn't really realize a difference. I'm pretty sure I had it hooked up correctly but definitely not worth what I paid for it.

One moment I have “excellent” reception/placement then without moving or using WiFi it indicates I need to move it closer to router. Not much increase in coverage. It appears to work but I wonder.

I bought this because I needed an extender and wanted a Mesh one. This one was recommended by a BB salesman. I bought it and set up and have been satisfied with it's performance so far.

I have had other Wifi Extenders in the past but was never satisfied with them. After a recent move, I got this one and have been impressed by its simple setup and incredible range.

Doesn’t stay connected to my network.. it randomly restarts and creates inconsistent connections to my devices.

Recently purchased a Netgear nighthawk router that I have been very happy with and I bought this extender and it works great it is seamless, honestly it’s the best network I ever had

Needed an extender for our security system because of the way the house was wired. This was a perfect fit. Sales rep was very helpful on choosing the right product.

This is not a fair eval based on where and distance I am using this device. Currently using on a boat attempting to use marina WiFi and not working too well for me.

This mesh extender is easy to install, does not need a different password or anything and it really helps getting signal to the hard to get areas of the house

Was on the phone with netgear for 4 hours, After Comcast reset the modem now they do not work again and neatither do my Ring cameras which was the main reason I bought them
