With people working from home and homeschooling happening here, we needed to expand our wifi network. My son, the techy, set me up with this and it's doing a great job of keeping our wifi spread out over a large home.

Great Great unit for extending our Wi-Fi no issues

Works great. I had two areas with weak WiFi signal that now have great signal. The only bad thing I have found so far is the power button is hard to find without looking while the other button is very easy to find. When you push that wrong button it looks for a new signal and then requires set up again.

Bought this to extend wifi to front and back yard.

It's been very useful to me most of the time, although it was a bit tough for me to start initially.

I am using it with a nighthawk router and it was a bit finicky at first. It takes 5 min to boot. If it drops its clients you have to reboot. Once settled in it is a great unit.

The product was easy to setup but does not meet expectations. It may be user error but have needed to reset device several times.

Fast, only issue I have is when plugging devices directly into the network ports, seems like they lose connection periodically. Could be the way I set it up, not sure.

This wifi extender replaced one that could not deliver strong enough signals to the Roku's to prevent lost connections during the day/night. The X6S was simple to install and has performed flawlessly eliminating the "lost connection" issues we had with the previous one.

This unit is not really heavy on explanations or instructions, but it works well with my Nighthawk X10. Great companion to +5000 sq. ft. floor plan.

It was a breeze to intall just press the wps button on the router and the extender and after a little wait it was set. Putt it half way on my house and now a have wifi on my driveway wich i didnt have before with just the router.( too many walls for the signal from my router to reach)

I am using this to help provide coverage and it helps a little however my boys state there is still lag when playing ps4

Works as described for the most part except the last 2 firmware updates have been disasters. I am using the firmware from that is 2 increments old but works very well.

Needed to get WIFI access in our nursery and the original modem was at opposite end of the house. By placing this extender halfway through the house, I was successful.

This is a nice product, but I returned because it messed up my Sonos speaker network because while advertised as mesh, Sonos didn't see it that way.

Our small, 1289 sq/ft Home was at times spotty signal. The nighthawk works and was an easy setup. Now my 6 yr old router/ modem isn’t doing the job and needed to be replaced. Just replaced it and reset my Nighthawk extender and connected it to our new router/ modem.

It works. NETGEAR customer service is helpful. Ease of setup rated 1, we had to call to get assisted. But ince set up, no complaints.

It’s easy to set up but didn’t help much. It’s just like the regular extender and there is no improvement on speed
