The mesh wifi network feature gave me trouble as well as connectivity problems using it simply as a range extender.

This device was setup as an access point instead of an extender. According to instructions this was an advanced setup and after repeating the instructions a second time it worked fine. Setup took longer than I thought it would and testing signal strength was the most difficult part.

network didn't expand far enough. But setup is very easy and there should be no problems

It took us calling our provider to set this up. Honestly, we tried. It,s is up and running....fantastic. We needed to get our signal into our barn for the winter to zoom. Totally grateful with high marks. Full recommendations.

I have tried a few different wi-fi extenders and none of them worked. This one cost a little more, but actually works! Technical Support is also great! Now all the rooms in the house can get wi-fi! I'm very happy with this purchase!

NICE UNIT, BUT I HAD TO RETURN THE ITEM AS IT DIDN'T PROVIDE SUFFICIENT COVERAGE FOR THE ENTIRE HOUSE

It's ok. We put it in our basement guest room. No complaints of spotty reception. It didn't work on the middle level of our house.

Excellent Wi-Fi Extender. I recently cancelled Dish service and went with YouTube TV. Without this I could stream to 2 televisions but it occasionally buffered. With this, streaming extends to all 5 TVs in my home. It is a beautiful thing.

Overall works very well. Needs to have power cycled almost daily to maintain strong connection but otherwise works well

This is the 2nd extender that has been replaced and after 1 day it is doing the same thing. iOS devices take up to 5 minutes to connect and I am rebooting the extender twice a day or more. After all the reviews from hundreds of people that are having this problem I refuse to spend hours with tech support. I’m just going to get the same song and dance that everyone else is reporting. Moving everything from my home and office back the Cisco products.

Netgear WiFi extender works well until you overload it with too many devices. Needed to upgrade to Orbi Netgear mesh WiFi system after having too many devices connected. Orbi works better but of course much more expensive

The wifi extender took a little bit of time to set up but then again we are not tech people! Now when working or relaxing outdoors we have wifi.

Extender was able to consolidate both my 2.4G and 5G signals to a single named connection. Grabbed my 5G and extended to my basement and now I have 5G on my "big screen" to fully take advantage of higher resolution steaming options.

No problem getting this "hooked up" . Noticed a big improvement in coverage, ie less "gaps": Make sure you put it high as you can .

Thought this was the end of signal troubles. Turned out I still needed a upstairs booster. Oh, and new devices are available at Best Buy.

Just bought a flat screen tv for our basement only to find out we couldn't watch anything because our internet connection (box in upstairs bedroom) was too weak. Netgear solved that problem! Once in awhile it does lose connection but all in all very happy with it.

Expensive yet effective. Found this item at Best Buy and price matched to Amazon. I'm pretty happy with it overall.

With the help of a knowledgeable tech (3rd call in) from Netgear we were able to get this extender up and running.

The mesh part seems to work ok, meaning I have wifi in more places than I used to, but the speeds seem to fluctuate dramatically.
